Indycar @ The Glen
The Verizon Indycar series returns to Watkins Glen for the first time since 2010, here are some things to watch for.
-Speed. I am SPEED: A fresh repave has already led to shattered track records, with Scott Dixon winning the pole at a lap of 1:22.526.
-Silly season gets sillier: A big, unexpected shoe dropped earlier today with the announcement that veteran Frenchman Sébastien Bourdais will be heading to Dale Coyne's team in 2017, raising even more questions about next year's driver lineups. Who moves to KV? Who does SeaBass replace? What does this mean for other free agents on the market? All will be figured out in due time, but for now, the penultimate round of the Verizon Indycar Series begins at 2:00 EST Sunday on NBCSN.

Bourdias to Coyne is out of left field, My only theories as to why KV would can Sebastian is they either want to give Munoz the world (rumor 1) or make a play for Montoya (rumor 2)
The other hot scoop according to racer is Marco Andretti and Rossi might be swapping teams with each other.

Oh hey, Castroneves is leading. How's he gonna lose this one? I'm gonna say Dixon just blitzes him on the restart.
EDIT: What a call that was!

I thought that was a pretty good race. (pretty much) Clean for last run. Dixon just had it down today.

O.k race it looked like from Twitter at least. Hunter-Reay was completely uncompetitive, really hoping he's on the move this fall.

If he was Marco Smith, that'd be the only professional driving he'd be doing.

Solid race. Dixon back on track after a couple of crap races.
This is looking like a Pagenaud title barring crazies at Sonoma, which is still entirely possible.

Woah, say what you really think Tracy.
Great, competitive race today. Was hoping some way that Josef would win, but all and all a solid race.

Re: Indycar @ The Glen
Meh.
There was some decent battles in the mid-field, but my goodness, did Scott Dixon stink up this show. I know some people said this was an alright race, but from my perspective, it's kind of hard to be entertained when the battle for the lead is non-existent and a driver you don't like pretty much dominates the race and cruises to an easy win. But that's just me.
The fuel mileage deal made things a little interesting, but let's be honest, the winner was never really in doubt.
What a dumb move by Power cutting off Charlie Kimball at the top of the esses. That could just cost him the championship.
Overall, not the best race, wasn't terrible.
STAR OF THE RACE: Scott Dixon. I don't like the guy, but there really couldn't be anyone else, considering he absolutely spanked everyone today.
REJECT OF THE RACE: Will Power. May have destroyed his championship hopes today.
FINAL RATING: Pretty meh race to me. I'll go on my Bret Hart shit and give it a 4/10.
With just Sonoma left to go, Simon Pageanud has a 43 point lead over Will Power.
