Finally. Great to hear that's Rob's won at last especially after being so quick at Knockhill. I think the Audi could really benefit from some Manufacturer backing to help with the cost's. Missed the races again due to MX5's at Donington but I'll try and catch up with them on the web.Ben Atkins wrote:FANTASTIC!!! Rob Austin just took his first race win in BTCC! I don't suppose anyone knows of what Connor Mills (Ginetta Junior) is now doing? I was excited for him driving at the start of the season, really talented, won last years Super 1 Mini Max and vice-champ in Kart Stars Mini Max, but noticed he went missing near the start of the season. Real shame if he ran out of money to fund a season, one for the future.

Seeing as every company in Italy is now owned by FIAT, only chances of seeing an Italian manufacture in touring cars is Alfa Romeo because historically only they (and also Maserati in the 80s with the terrible Biturbo) have ever competed.

Sam Tordoff punted him out of the way at Luffield corner in the early laps of Race 3, and then Neal retaliated by blatantly turning him round out of the corner, and Tordoff could only manage 14th. As much as I like Matt Neal, I think there was some what no excuse for that to happen.crl wrote:What did Tall Freak Karate Man do now?Ben Atkins wrote:Glad to see Matt Neal hasn't got any more classy. Re: Touring Car Thread
I have heard recently from someone with connections to Mallory Park (which was run by a company part of the BARC until their demise a few days ago), that the BARC have gone, or are going into voluntary liquidation. I will post a link if I can find out that this is a confirmed statement, but I don't know what this means for the BTCC as they are run by the BARC according to their homepage.
