Re: Race 4: Mallory Park
- Spoiler:
- Justin Keith takes home victory on a last lap pass.
Justin Keith celebrates his 4th career victory at Mallory Park after leading only the last lap. He beat Robert Dorian in what is pretty much a photo finish.
"I had an awesome run there on the last lap, Sucks for Dorian, but hey, it's the last lap that matters."[/b]

- Spoiler:
- Reynolds delighted with Top-10 on debut
New Dash Cup driver Kurt Reynolds shined on his debut in the Series, placing a very impressive 7th place finish despite not having a very fast car in the early stages of the Race, "Dude this is so awesome. I was kind off a little slow in the Green-White-Checkered situation because of damage I had receive in an earlier wreck, but only fall back to 7th at the end was very breathtaking as that was my main target towards the end of the Race."

Re: Race 4: Mallory Park
- Spoiler:
- Carter apologetic after huge accident.
Zoe Carter's race at Abbey Engineering's home track didn't go as well as planned as an early wreck with Daryll Karvalenko and a scary incident at Gerard's bend put her out of the race. Carter had this to say after the race, "Today wasn't as good as we hoped and I'm sorry for disappointing the team at their home track and wrecking Daryll. We were having a good battle until I got impatience and went for a gap that didn't really exist so I wouldn't be surprised if I get penalized for that. The accident we had at the end has left me a bit sore but luckily none of the fans were hurt". Team boss Ray Jackson had this to say. "The car has reportedly gone through the *barriers because the supporting barrier behind the tires was rotten, and basically just collapsed."
* The barriers at the track irl were actually rotten in places before the runoff was extended so this actually makes a lot of sense.

Tomzak complains about car
Derevatious Tomzak was quite slow in the Dash Cup race at Mallory Park, he blames the car for his lack of speed. "The car was off, it would break loose over the bumps which made me quite slow. I am physically exhausted after this one. I feel that this track needs repaved or something, because this track is BUMPY!"

O'Reilly Slams Sanchez After Mallory Park Debacle
"[Expletive] hell! What the [Expletive] was he doing?!"
That was the radio transmission from a usually laid-back and upbeat Andrew O'Reilly after being involved in a hard crash on lap 23 in the second race of the Mallory Park GP.
While trying to navigate through some heavy traffic towards the back-half of the field, O'Reilly collided with the lapped car of Sean Sanchez, which sent O'Reilly hard into the outside tire barrier. O'Reilly careened back into traffic, and luckily no one else hit O'Reilly. At least two or three other drivers were involved in the melee, including one flying down pit road to try to avoid the wreck.
After the race, O'Reilly was none too pleased.
"It's the same morons each and every week who have no spacial awareness and have no idea that there are others on the racetrack. [Sean] Sanchez cost us a points paying finish, because he doesn't know how to get out of the way of others, especially when those others are fighting for points. Hell, he can't even get out of pit lane properly! Hopefully we can wrap our heads around our STS Arrows and we can get back to a competitive state. Just really pissed right now," said O'Reilly, as he later disappeared into his team's transporter.
A 3rd DNF in 4 races to start the 2013 means that the Westockin Racing Team is even further down in the points. O'Reilly and company now hope to regain those lost points at several circuits where O'Reilly has already visited back in his rookie 2012 season.
