Kroger 250- NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
The Truck Series returns for the second race of the season at Martinsville. The highly anticipated Chase Elliott and Snowball Derby winner Erik Jones both make their debuts this weekend. Kevin Harvick is the only full-time Cup driver on the entry list, and dominated this race last year.

Trucks have an Australian driver for first time since 2006 (I think) in the form of Kenny Habul, but since he's in a RSS Truck that isn't the 39 he'd be parking.

Awesome Chase from Dawsonville. Nope doesn't have the same ring.

A few notes about the entry list
- I'm surprised Tim George is on the entry list but hopefully this means he's in the car all year
- Nelson Piquet, Jr. is in the #30.
- I would say it's highly questionable whether the Eddie Sharp Racing (no driver, no sponsor, John King and/or Justin Lofton may be possibilities) and the ThorSport #13 (Todd Bodine, unsponsored) will race.
- Who is Erik Jones? (not a rhetorical question).

Lots of new faces on the entry list should make for an interesting race.

I'd be ten times more excited for this race if Kevin Harvick wasn't on the entry list. Btw, who the hell is Grant Galloway? I actually know a little bit about Devin Jones...it's that he has a boat load of money.

According to his website he's a dirt racer from Indiana. The site doesn't look like it's been updated since 2010, though, so I can't find much other than that.

I wonder who Caleb Holman is? And also, I'm pretty sure I've heard of the name Kenny Habul in NASCAR before have I?
Re: Kroger 250- NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
Caleb Holman is some guy who run a Nationwide race at Bristol driving a Lays cars 5-6 years back. He was absolutely all over the place and ran several laps with a badly damaged front end before going out early.

Ran the Nationwide road courses last year in the 75, which was an old JGR car, he went off at turn 5 at Road America and still finished 16th.BWardboy88 wrote:I wonder who Caleb Holman is? And also, I'm pretty sure I've heard of the name Kenny Habul in NASCAR before have I?
Re: Kroger 250- NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
He was really good in the USAR Pro Cup Series. NASCAR is a different story, though.Jason Hamilton wrote:Caleb Holman is some guy who run a Nationwide race at Bristol driving a Lays cars 5-6 years back. Jeb Burton beats Dakoda Armstrong by 0.001 in the first practice session. also, i'm happy to see Chase Elliot up there in 12th.
Re: Kroger 250- NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
Jeb Burton and Bubba Wallace will start on the front row. Kevin Harvick starts 16th so if "cuppiewinslol" is going to happen, he has some work to do... Jonathan Davenport and Clay Greenfield DNQ.
Re: Kroger 250- NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
wait, there were actually enough trucks for people to actually dnq for once, hax

Ready to watch the race with the lag for the next 2 hours.
Goodyear bringing in tires for the truck race that will actually make it a challenge for the drivers and the race exciting? SAY WHAT?!?!

Re: Kroger 250- NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
Anyone know where it's being streamed? (I'm probably gonna ask this for every nascar race as I really want to make an effort in watching this year as I haven't followed the entire nascar season since 2006)

Here's the stream I'm using: Link
That site has streams for a lot of races as well, it'd be worth bookmarking it.

I've heard this from a lot of non-Americans. Maybe it's just because I'm used to them, but I've never really noticed a big difference between US commercials and the rest of the world.

Re: Kroger 250- NASCAR Camping World Truck Series
Ryan Sieg starts the year out with two top 10's and currently sits 6th in points. I like that.

Some of them are made by Hollywood.
Yup.
Also, I laughed when Hornaday got booted.

American has ads relating to the male genitalia area nearly every ad break during prime/afternoon TV time, which Australia doesn't have.Sparkz47 wrote:Metro 6r4 wrote:American adverts are really weird.

Good race yesterday. Sauter is definitely a championship contender being 2-0 this season. Hell of a drive by Jeb Burton, Chase Elliot and Darrell Wallace Jr.
