Kroger 200 @ Martinsville - Camping World Truck Series

After a nailbiter at Talladega which saw Johnny Sauter sweep the NCWTS restrictor plate races last weekend along with the big one on the final lap, the tough trucks head to Martinsville where Johnny Sauter is looking for another season sweep and give help to his teammate and points leader Matt Crafton with 4 races to go.

What will happen Saturday? We'll find out.

Crafton's got the title. But still doesn't mean i won't enjoy the silliness that is Trucks at Martinsville.

Boss Chastain fastest in practice. Both the new guy in the #6 whose name I've forgotten already and Jeff Agnew were both in the top 10.

Practice 2 finished. 1-10: 51, 54, 19, 6, 4, 98, 27, 94, 77, 88.
11-20: 62, 29, 17, 32, 8, 7, 31, 3, 92, 30.
21-30: 9,39, 22, 81, 75, 24, 33, 18, 14, 60.
31-39: 93, 68, 99, 84, 21, 57, 07, 10.

Denny Hamlin wins pole. Johnny Sauter qualifies 2nd. Spencer Gallagher and Jennifer Jo Cobb did not qualify.

Cool race. BUBBA GETS THE WIN! Glad to see him get the win...likeable driver.

The Dillon-Harvick stuff was comedy gold. I lost it at the hammer.

So glad for Darrell, about damn time a race went right for him.


As for the clash, well I can't even fault Harvick's comments really. We pretty much all already knew how he felt, all he did was finally actually say it.

The whole Ty Dillon vs Kevin Harvick situation:

Caught the last 45 or so laps. Good to see Darrell win; the aftermath of the Harvick-Dillon lap had me literally LOLing.

Nice to see Darrell win a race. The guy's a class act.

Like Harvick hasn't done the exact same thing... what, is Dillon supposed to not race him because he's some young buck while Harvick is some vet?!? Eff him!!!

I remember saying on Teamspeak specifically in the early portion of the race "If Kevin Harvick gets wrecked he's going to go after somebody since this seems to be what he does at Martinsville. Saw it coming and not surprised at his reaction to it. (Honestly Ty fighting back and calling him out as well in the interviews was more surprising)

It might be a bit extreme to think about this but you got to question Harvick's status in the 29 car over what happened today. Also the fact that if they decide to part ways before season's end there is a spot Harvick can easily fit into at his new team before the year is done.

That should've been in effect the whole season, that would've been nice.

Crafton can clinch the Championship at Texas by:

Winning with max points.
Buescher finishes 26th or lower without leading a lap
Dillon finishes 16th or lower without leading a lap
Burton finishes 10th or lower without leading a lap

Also this is first time since Phoenix last year Crafton has finished outside the top third of the field.
