Dunlop V8 Series Racer Ash Walsh will become Will Davison's new teammate at Erebus Motorsport next year, replacing Lee Holdsworth.

Potentially a Lexus. Apparently they're looking into V8SC, although I imagine it's the same kind of "looking into" which created that IS-F Concept racer that was actually based on a Opel Vectra DTM car.
Re: Australian Motoracing General (V8 Supercars go here)
2nd to last race of the year has been stopped due to a MASSIVE rainstorm.
Jamie Whincup would end up winning the race.

The 2014 V8 Supercar championship comes to close with another MASSIVE Thunderstorm ending the race before it's scheduled conclusion
SVG gets the win after the torrential rain causes Garth Tander to go off right before the safety car came out. Whincup is your champion and preceded to celebrate by running in the rain barefoot.
Here's a idea of the rainfall.

The thunderstorm was so bad that spectators couldn't use any of the bridges to get out of the circuit. That was certainly an unforgettable spectator moment being there today

$10 it's Paul Morris.
Considering how long Paul's been around, & that this probably had to do with something on track, I doubt it was Paul, because he actually had an extremely uneventful race 2. It could've involve Brett Stewart, since he was apparently a bit involved in things during that race

I was 100% right. It was Brett Stewart. I don't even know why, I witnessed his accident at turn 11 & it wasn't that bad

That footage shows it all.
I wouldn't be mad at all if he gets banned for life.

Re: Australian Motoracing General (V8 Supercars go here)
Completely uncalled for. I looked up Brett Stewart's career statistics in the Dunlop V8 Series, he's raced in the Series since 2011 and has not had a single Top-10 finish before. If he really needed to express his displeasure with Josh Keen, at least go down to him and sort it out like men, but ramming a driver in the Paddock area is completely inexcusable and disgraceful, plus punching the wrong person, that being a volunteering official goes beyond misconduct. If he doesn't get banned from Racing I'll be very surprised.

I would personally agree with banning him. That was a disgraceful lack of concern for safety of others (and that's not even considering his assault charges).BWardboy88 wrote:

This whole thing reminds me of Paul Romano intentionally punting Rodney Forbes off back about a decade ago, which led to Romano scoring -58 points or somesuch

Paul was a pretty cool guy. Rang up my sister of her birthday to wish her a happy birthday.

Shame the Nissan just took off after passing them, would have been nice for a threeway battle to the end but nevertheless it was great.

They were a pretty potent combination last year, hopefully they'll be even stronger with another year of development on the Volvo.
