Rookies:
Esteben Gutierrez
Valterri Bottas
Giedo van der Garde
Jules Bianchi
Max Chilton
Interestingly enough, only Bottas and Gutierrez are in somewhat decent rides.

For the lols, Marussia and Caterham scores F1 points. In all seriousness, Sergio Perez winning in F1...in his first race as a McLaren driver.

I had joked with my dad about this happening just the other day. That would be something to see, IndyCar champion "Dominant" Danica Patrick destroying the field.Sparkz47 wrote:BWardboy88 wrote:So what shenanigans will make everyone go wtf till race 3.

Front 10 as expected, apart from 8th for Sutil. Further back, Marussia are clear of the Caterhams, with a good lap from Bianchi too. A good contrast between money and skill.

Me: watching F1 on NBC Sports?
Time Warner: yes, but how about having two of the same Food Networks?
TL;DR version: I thought I was done watching streams for F1....fuck you Time Warner.

From what I've seen there is no dominant team yet, so this should be fun. I'm watching this and going to a sprint tomorrow so it looks like i'm doing an all nighter.

All I have to say about this race after seeing the starting grid...VETTELWINSLOL.
Wow. McLaren did POORLY in qualifying while Mercedes did well with Lewis Hamilton qualifying 3rd and Nico Rosberg qualifying 6th.

They're probably wishing it's going to since it could increase their chances of finishing better.Milan655 wrote:More rain expected according to Toro Rosso.

Yup. It's from SkySports. I know there are a lot of ads to deal with, but if you go full screen, it's not so bad. http://www.firstrow1.eu/watch/175402/1/watch-formula-1-australian-grand-prix---race.html

A solid race to begin the 2013 F1 season if I say so myself. Great job by Kimi and a hell of an effort by Sutil in his comeback race.

Kimi wins. Sweet. Adrian Sutil made one hell of a statement today. I would like to see both Kimi and Adrain continue that trend. I had a feeling that Kimi would be a threat for the title this year and he definitely showed it. There was some action throughout the race but not really enough to get me sitting on the edge of my seat. Other than that, I'm looking forward to next weekend's race!

Man I'm glad Kimi could win that one, maybe he could actually be a major contender for the title this year.
