Yeah, this race was pretty ridiculous with the one-offs. Leonid Chernov started on the pole, but quickly surrendered it to his RUS Autosport teammate Sergei Yakovski, who remained untouched for the rest of the race.
There was one notable incident on lap 7, when Leonid Chernov was trying to lap the slow car of Flint Stoneman entering Turn 2. He doesn't use the brakes, and promptly dumps Stoneman into the sand trap. No penalty was deemed necessary, for some reason.
Local and part-time drivers were everywhere in the transfer spots, with 8 of the 12 being taken up by them. Both Tutinos from Scuderia Italia transfer, with Torregrossa being the much faster of the two. Polish Rally champion Stanislav Warzsawski transfers in his own #10, and Miko Rantanen makes his debut driving for Frank Azzaretto's operation.
Please discuss.

Leckliter shares his thoughts about 5th place finisher, Ben Atkins
"British people can't drive, this race is rigged. no wait, it can't be, I'm not Robert Nelson."

Re: Hungaroring Qualifier
Delgado Blasts Team Performances, Demands Improved Focus From Drivers, Takes Aim at Officials
After seeing both TDR cars fail to qualify for Hungaroring, Tom Delgado ripped into his drivers' performances, as well as the officials for not penalizing Leonid Chernov for punting Flint Stoneman off the road.
"The fact that there will be no TDR car in this race is embarrassing enough! Then you add onto the fact that the officials showed blatant favoritism towards the local drivers by not penalizing Chernov for that nonsense with Stoneman. Flint was reporting handling issues all race and wouldn't shut the hell up about it, so I told him to pace it down and try NOT to be a wrecking ball. This is what I get for telling my drivers to drive safely?"
Delgado plans an appeal, but it seems very half-hearted at best as he knows that it won't fix the fact that there will be no TDR presence at the track come raceday, and that this will only hurt his attempts to get one of the TDR cars locked in.

Damon Jones: bam, didn't really have a good setup on our car to make our way in. Oh well, time to move on I guess.

Casey Lester: Hey, Miko. *knock knock* You got in by one spot. I'm sure it was because of how bad the others were.

Re: Hungaroring Qualifier
Jack in the Box strips Woodard of his sponsorship contract, FROZR graphic cards and Lycoia Motors to take over at next race.
JitB decided to pull out of it's contract with Terra Int'l Motorsports, citing that Woodard was not meeting his required performance level. All is not lost, FROZR Graphics Cards and Lycoia Motors have already come to the team's rescue to resecure funding for the operation. The Ironic thing is that the two sponsors were going to join up at Cleveland but decided it was a good publicity stunt to do what they did after JitB pulled out.
OOC: I'll send you the 111 Frozr graphic cards flat shortly.
