- Spoiler:
- Lucas Flint celebrates top 10 at Talladega
Lucas Flint is usually known for his talent on road courses, but with his awesome run at Talladega leaves Leckliter Racing something to be proud of.
"If these lapped cars didn't get in the way I could of won the damn thing! all I'm wondering what the fuck people were thinking on the first lap...dumbasses...."
Both Flint and his teamowner Daniel Leckliter will attempt Rockford in two weeks time, and they will also be sharing the 10L car next year in the ARLA Elite Series

Re: 2012 Race 21 (Radii Radiators 300)
- Spoiler:
- "It sucks because I'm trying to do all I can to raise my stock for silly season and we're having a good run, and the pit crew screws us over and we lose the draft. I apologize to the leaders that I was in the way of, it's not like me to do that. I keep saying that this team is showing promise and I still believe that, but there comes a time when the results aren't coming that you have to look at yourself and the team. I believe that if it weren't for a few retirements last season, I would've been champion. These new cars are so much easier to drive but the engineers can't figure how to set the damn things up. We can still do it, I want to be able to finish off my last full season in ARLA off right at Rockford. Maybe SOMETHING good will happen there." -Jacob Eichholtz

Re: 2012 Race 21 (Radii Radiators 300)
- Spoiler:
- Lane Cranston: "I'm so happy to get our second podium this season, but I feel that we could've won the race if we hadn't got held up by [Scott] Dalitz, who decided that trying to hold up two lines at once late in the race would be good entertainment for the people at home. Still, I'm happy that we pushed aside the memories of what happened in February, when we were involved in Mark's [Freestone] big crash, and come home with a great finish. It was also nice to lead some laps today. Thank goodness we avoided the first corner stupidity caused by James [West]. Looking forward to Rockford, and to end the season on a winning note."

Re: 2012 Race 21 (Radii Radiators 300)
- Spoiler:
- Jack Dempsey's race flatlines due to lackluster pit work
It seemed that Dempsey's 41 Sticky Hooves Tonare was a front running car during the first half of the race, even snatching a couple of lead laps for himself. He would pit with the majority of the field but things went downhill as the pitcrew seemed to be rather... off about not getting him back out there in the lead.
"I kept the car out of trouble, that's all that matters. I like this series, but it has some real idiots." Dempsey was referring to James West taking out several cars in the first corner. "Woodard wasn't here because he's scheduled to race in New York City... or at least attempt to qualify his way in after the team nearly imploded." Dempsey told reporters... "I wish him the best of luck though, I'm heading back to Australia to see the wife and kids."

- Spoiler:
- [b]Richard Scott Critical of West After Miserable Day
Like any rookie making their first superspeedway start, Richard Scott was excited for the Radii Radiators 300, his final guaranteed start of the season. However, his pursuit of victory ended prematurely after he was involved in the opening lap caution of Race 2, making contact with the spinning car of Michael Madrigal and then being rear-ended by AJ Young. Scott was able to keep the car running but was off pace all day before the engine in his #027 Inglesby expired in the closing stages of the event. Not without merit, Scott was critical of the driving ability of James West when interviewed in the garage.
"I'm just glad I'm not racing with (West) next year, because he's overstayed his welcome. He might have been talented years ago, but somewhere along the line he must've forgotten that you don't try to win the race on the first lap. All that's left to do now is to try to get it off my mind and race my way into Rockford".

- Spoiler:
- Rogers notches best career ARLA finish, places fourth in Race 2:
Kellan Rogers knew she'd have to be on her toes in her second career ARLA start.
Making her first visit to the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway, Rogers qualified well, rolling off sixth on Race 2.
She got a scare in the first turn courtesy of James West, but quickly regained her composure and came home in fourth place - the best finish of her brief ARLA career.
"That was a lot of fun," she said. "I really thought I was cooked there when James West had a brain fade, but when I saw the trouble was behind me I think I exhaled a little."
"I want to thank Ike Durbin for giving me another shot in his car, too," she added. "There's nothing like seat time. I hope it's good preparation for Rockford, and for my Dash Cup schedule next year."
Matthews has nondescript run at Talladega, remains 9th in points:
Tiffany Matthews remembers her first visit to Talladega Superspeedway well.
"I ended up wrecked," she said.
Fortunately for her, the second time went much better than the first. She ran in the top 15 all day, and though she missed another top-10 run, her finish was good enough to keep her in the top 10 in points.
"I don't want to say I was points racing out there, but in a way I was," she said. "I don't have a shot at the championship - thanks, Michael, by the way - but I still want to make a good impression as the season ends. After all, I've got potential sponsors to impress."
Her last comment was a reference to the Lynxe Women's Team scouting her for a potential return to TM Lights, where Matthews was abysmal in an abbreviated 2012 season.
For now, though, her focus is on Rockford...and closing out what so far has been a solid rookie season.
