The Charlotte Race to the Chase 200 presented by Avon Race Review.
Lap 5 - After starting inside 2nd row, Kelvin Roddick is looking to continue his hot-streak by passing his teammate Matt Reeves for the lead.
Lap 8 - Casey Lester cuts down a tyre going into turn 2, he manages to keep his car straight and on the apron and he makes it back around to the pits. He will lose 3 laps.
Lap 20 - 1st caution: Marcus Johnson bounces off the turn 4 wall and into Jesse Wales and Skyler Berman. All 3 cars spin but managed not to hit anything else. Greg Crawford blows a camshaft under caution. Matt Reeves wins the race off pit-road thanks to his number one pit stall.
Lap 25 - Restart: Roddick passes Reeves back going into turn 3. Roddick is looking very strong for his 4th win of the season.
Lap 42 - This is looking like another Skullcandy race as Ike Durbin passes both Roddick and Reeves for the lead.
Lap 48 - Roddick and Durbin swap the lead.
Lap 80 - Kim Alayes pits under green, this start the rush to pit road.
Lap 82 - A majority of cars pit on this lap.
Lap 84 - Roddick stays out a little bit longer than everyone else but manages to maintain his lead.
Lap 108 - 2nd caution: Some debris has been spotted in turn 2. When the pace car comes out on track, it picks up the wrong car, causing multiple cars to end of the lead lap. The leader Roddick will now start right near the back of the field.
Lap 113 - Restart.
Lap 127 - 3rd caution. Dick Phillip spins in turn 4 right in-front of Roddick, and they make contact. Roddick is able to stay on track and in the lead.
Lap 132 - Restart with 3 laps to go. The damage that Roddick received is enough to keep his car from full pace as Reeves blows straight by on the restart.
Lap 134 - After heartbreak at Sonoma, Texas, and Martinsville, Matt Reeves finally gets his long-awaited first win. Despite a very hard charge on the final restart, Ben Atkins misses out on a Chase spot by 2 points, or 0.31 seconds. Ben Atkins after the race on pit-road said "We gave up". Joshua Michaels wasted a perfect opportunityon getting the final wild-card, after Lester's cut tyre, all Michaels had to do was finish top 13, but fell very short in 29th.

***BREAKING NEWS***
Team communications from Alacrity has revealed that Kim Alayas was ordered during the last restart to both hold station behind teammate Jesse Wales and to also block other drivers who were a lap down. The reason they did this was so Wales could keep the 3 bonus points he gets from his Sonoma win. The main victim from this was Ben Atkins, who misses out on a Chase spot, but since he never gave up, DeWalt Cup stewards have decided to give Ben Atkins a 13th Chase spot.

Skullcandy, Inc. Thrilled with Drivers
It has been a great season for Skullcandy, Inc., with two of their three drivers in the Chase, and Kelvin Roddick going into the Chase as the number one seed. Team owners were noted as being thrilled with all three drivers, even Ike Durbin, who notably missed the Chase.
All three cars have led numerous laps and been some of the quickest cars on the grid, with the three leading a combined one hundred thirty four laps in the most recent race. It has been confirmed that all three drivers will return.

***MORE BREAKING NEWS***
More team communications have been released, this time from Rubbutt's Racing, where Dick Phillip's crew chief can be heard asking if Dick's arm is itchy, which is code-word for "self-spin". Dick Phillip spun with 7 laps to go, right as Ben Atkins was about to go a lap down. DeWalt Cup officials have decided to strip Ben Atkins of his 13th Chase spot that was given to him this morning.

Ben Atkins murders then fires Dick Phillip over Charlotte controversy
Ben Atkins has murdered and fired driver Dick Phillip and his crew chief Macey Cester over a controversy where Dick Phillip spun his car out after team orders from the crew chief to driver which cost Atkins at a illegitimate chase spot. Atkins is not expected to face jail time for the fact that Dick Phillip was #1 on the FBI Most Wanted list and so Atkins actually got a $1000000 bounty pay for his contribution.
"I am that freakin' pissed" said Atkins. "This is bullshit."
Atkins was seen looking into space near his hauler after the announcement that he had lost his chase spot. Dick Phillip is expected to be replaced by Mak Wibba, the Australian, who recently just ragequit F3897 because he isn't very good.

Lap 60 - Carl Jones passed Johnson early on the restart, and on the last lap of the race passed Westbrook for the win. Jones will start 9th in the All-Star, Westbrook 10th, and winning the fan-vote is *drum-roll* Ben Atkins, who finished 21st after restarting 5th at halfway.

@DeWaltCupStats: For the first time since Phoenix, the pole wasn't won by either Alactiry or Skullcandy.
@DeWaltCupStats: With his 4th in Qualifying, @IDurbin86 now has a 7.231 qualifying average, which is more amazing by the fact he has no pole wins.

Quaker State 150 B-Main Review. Only one incident happened on lap 19 when Phil Nelson blew a right front tyre in the tri-oval. He bounced off the wall into the path of Kirby Pardus and both made hard contact. Pardus had to retire but Nelson was able to continue albeit 3 laps down. Re: DeWalt Cup (2014 Office Depot 300K posted)
Kentucky Quaker State 150 Race Review.
Lap 4 - 1st caution: In turn 4 Ben Atkins dumps the #29 of Robert Nelson. Marcos Gordon clobbers the stationary car of Nelson, then gets hit by Ellie Turner, sending Gordon into a series of barrel rolls down the back straight. Both Gordon and Turned would retire, but Nelson manages to keep going.
Lap 5 - Under caution Joshua Michaels turns Bryan Vickers into the side of Jeff Ambrose.
Lap 9 - Matt Reeves leads the restart.
Lap 52 - 2nd caution: Romain Raikonnen in a rare appearnce blows up on the front stretch, he gets to turn 2 before getting hit by Dylan Andrew. He also gets clipped by Ryan Matthews, then gets t-boned by Pat Demps. This was the 2nd incident Demps had that lap, as on lap 51 Demps hooks Kyle McGregor coming out of turn 4, but McGregor was able to save it and keep going straight.
Lap 57 - A couple of lapped cars stayed out on the race track, this meant that race leader Matt Reeves had to restart in around 10th position on the track, this would turn bad as small contact with a lapped car cuts a tyre on the 98 machine and he has to pit under green, his teammate Ike Durbin takes the lead.
Lap 59 - Ben Atkins blows an engine and retires from the race, this seems like karmic retribution for the dirty driving he showed earlier.
Lap 64 - 3rd caution. The slow car of Robert Nelson goes up the race track right infront of Matt Reeves, both go into the wall and retire with damage.
Lap 69 - Restart.
Lap 73 - 4th caution. Ross Westbrook failed to clear Mak Wibba and both on the back straight.
Lap 76 - Bryan Vickers has a broken suspension and dropes to pit road to retire.
Lap 78 - Restart. The lapped car of Greg Crawford who was going to restart near the front of the field pits to get out of the way of the leaders. Very smart move by the 000 has he has been the slowest car this race.
Lap 100 - Ike Durbin has taken full advantage of his teammate's problems, and wins his first race, the Quaker State 150.

Richmond Caterpillar 100 Race Review.
Lap 2 - 1st caution: Carl Jones hooks Daniel Leckliter into the wall out of turn 4. As he is spinning, he is hit by Derek Resnek, who starts spinning, and both make contact with several drivers including Shawn Montgomery, Skyler Berman, Christopher Corbett,. Due to the slow nature of backmarkers sorting themselves out, Race leaders Florida Orange and Kim Alayas slam into the back of Bryan Vickers. Both Alayas and Vickers will have to retire from this.
Lap 8. New leader Sofia Chizelli leads the restart. 2nd caution: Ike Durbin dumps his teammate Matt Reeves in turn 2. Reeves is collected by Gerald Johnson. Both will continue.
Lap 14. Restart. Ellie Turner pits and stays in their for quite a long time for what seems like a camshaft problem, looks like their trying to fix and get her back out there.
Lap 15. Jesse Wales passed Chizelli for the lead.
Lap 34. Looks like Autotuning Autosport are having equipment issues as Kyle McGregor retires with a camshaft problem. Interesting to note that they retired McGregor yet are trying to fix Turner's car despite having similar problems...
Lap 61. 3rd caution. Daniel Leckliter breaks down in turn 2 and stops right in the middle of the racing line, he gets hit by Justin Robinson, and they block the whole track, and cause everybody to pile up, two of the Clason Entreprise cars Darlene Fenton and Rafael Barbosa get forced upside down. (OOC: When I say everybody, I literally mean everybody, there may of been like 5 or 6 cars that didn't make contact with anyone). A massive 16 cars retire from this, that list is:
Kelvin Roddick
Florida Orange
Darlene Fenton
Sofia Chizelli
Mak Wibba
Magenta Nelson-Andrew
Ryan Griffin
Robert Nelson
Justin Robinson
Ryan Matthews
Rafael Barbosa
Ross Westbrook
Kirby Pardus
Daniel Leckliter
Gerald Johnson.
Ike Durbin has managed to get the lead due to everyone pitting, either scheduled stops or just to repair damage. Only 10 cars stayed on the lead lap.
Lap 67. Restart.
Lap 70. 4th caution: Christopher Corbett spins Phil Nelson in turn 2. Nelson will retire after making hard contact with the wall.
Lap 76. Both Tiffany Matthews and Dylan Andrew unlapped themselves.
Lap 78. Skyler Berman passes Ike Durbin for the lead and puts both Matthews and Andrew a lap down again.
Lap 81. Ike Durbin is trying really hard to get his 2nd win in-a-row as he nearly hooks the 006 out of turn 2.
Lap 82. Durbin now completes the pass, a bit cleaner this tim.
Lap 88. Matt Reeves blows the motor while running in 4th position. That is 3 DNF's in a row for Reeves.
Lap 100. Jesse Wales makes his move on the leaders, and leads for the 2nd time this race.
Lap 109. Durbin takes a few laps to get back in a rhythm, and re-takes the lead.
Lap 133. Despite having Jesse Wales hot on his back bumper for the remaining 20 laps, Ike Durbin maintains the lead, and his 2nd race in a row, the Caterpillar 100!

Re: DeWalt Cup (2014 Office Depot 300K posted)
Daniel Lecklier wins the NAPA Shocks 150 B-Main from the pole, leading all but one lap. On lap 20, Leckliter got held up by both Jay Jianoran and Heywood Jablowme, and that allowed Ross Westbrook to grab the lead, but only for one lap. Johnny Callon blew a left front tyre in lap 22, ending his chance of making the race.
Before the race, DeWalt Cup officials held a press conference to announce 2014 plans. This includes a major overhaul to the schedule, as well as team and driver news. Here is the 2014 Schedule.
In terms of drivers and teams, the 50 car field cap as been scraped, this will allow teams to enter more cars than they currently can. The 3-car-a-team cap as also been scraped. Teams can now enter 4 cars for the full season, with an optional 5th for Bristol. The car number system has also changed. 3-digit numbers have been scraped, and the #1 will be reserved for the 2013 champion. Officials also said that teams will have to keep up to a certain standard, and will not allow some teams to return in 2014 (OOC: fail teams gtfo, that means you flyingturns and Dan). They also said if they can 60+ full-time cars, they will run a split race format, but if they can't, the current format will remain, with one change. Qualifying will now be done on Friday, and the B-Main will run on Saturday, this means the top 12 from the B-Main will start 31st-42nd in order of where they finished.

Skullcandy, Inc. 'No Changes' for 2014
Skullcandy, Inc. has had a successful year in the DeWalt Cup Series, and team officials report that there will be 'no changes' in 2014. All three drivers have won a race, While Kelvin Roddick and Matt Reeves went on to make the Chase. Despite having a frustrating start to the year, Ike Durbin picked it up and is coming off of two consecutive wins. All three drivers have been confirmed to return to the team in 2014. Numbers and sponsors will remain the same unless Kelvin Roddick wins the championship, in which he will take number 1. Salomon Snowboards and Skullcandy have both resigned, to what capacity is unknown.

Christopher Corbett leaving MVR
At the end of the season, Christopher Corbett is leaving the MKR organization. It is unclear whether he will join another team or leave the series altogether. It's believed that Ross Westbrook will be back with the team. Corbett's replacement is unclear but it will likely be a rookie.

Atlanta NAPA Shocks 150 Race Review.
Robert Nelson and Marcos Gordon lead the field to the green for the first of 97 laps.
Lap 3: Matt Reeves passed Nelson for the race lead.
Lap 5: Kelvin Roddick has passed 14 cars in 5 laps to take the race lead off his teammate.
Lap 22: Sebastian Ztrem blows a header and retires.
Lap 26: Skyler Berman also blows an engine. This is causing concern on several teams.
Lap 43: Ike Durbin becomes the 3rd engine failure in 21 laps. This really puts concern on the Skullcandy team, who are currently running 1-2.
Lap 61: Roddick hits the pit lane for what should be the only pitstop of this race.
Lap 62: Ross Westbrook stays out and leads a lap.
Lap 63: Dylan Andrew stays out and leads a lap.
Lap 64: Pat Demps stays out and leads a lap.
Lap 65: Kelvin Roddick has re-entered pit lane, the right tyre has gone flat, and he'll lose several positions and valuable Championship points. Florida Orange also had gearbox problems on their pitstop, resulting in her dropping 5 laps to the leaders. Pat Demps pits, handing the lead to new race leader Matt Reeves.
Lap 85: Skullcandy's day has gone from worst to downright horrible has Matt Reeves gets a flat left front tyre while leading. He makes it back to pitroad but goes down a lap. This hands the lead to Daniel Leckliter, who transferred from the B-Main, and has slowly made his way through the field after starting 23rd.
Lap 97: Another Chase Race, another non-Chaser winner, as part-time driver Daniel Leckliter picks up the victory in the NAPA Shocks 150. Finishing a distant 2nd is Championship leader Carl Jones, who increases his points lead over Jesse Wales, who finished 7th. This is the series' first ever caution-free oval race. The officials praised all the drivers, for their hard work in developing their clean driving skills. This is also the last oval race of the season, as the final two races are on the road courses of Mosport and Mid-Ohio.

Mosport Equipment Express 100 B-Main Review.
Lap 1. The pole was won by Robert Nelson, but that's the only good thing that happened to him this weekend, as fuel pick-up problems meant he failed to make the green flag. This puts Denny Tyler in the lead from Ross Westbrook. Coming out of turn 10 at the end of lap 1. Jay Jianoran turns Romian Raikonnen into the inside wall. Both of them will retire from the race.
Lap 10. Steve Stevenson comes out of turn 10 with no power and stops on the front straight, he will be towed back to the pits.
Lap 12. Heywood Jablowme runs wide in turn 8, then wide again in turn 9 and hits the wall. He DNF's from the race. Kevin Hunter pits for a suspected flat tyre.
Lap 18. Denny Tyler wins after leading all 18 laps. Meanwhile in the back of the field there is a 3 car battle for the final two transfer spots. Both Greg Phillips and Greg Crawford just managed to hold on from Antony Weepers.

Florida Orange and Matt Reeves lead the field in the series' 2nd International race. Jesse Wales starts in 4th while Championship leader Carl Jones starts 18th.
Lap 3 - Casey Lester and Johnny Callon get together in turn 9 and crash into the wall, both of them will retire, this ends any chance Lester had at the title.
Lap 4 - Skyler Berman goes into the turn 9 wall after making contact with Jeff Ambrose. Berman retires from the race.
Lap 5 - The gearbox on Ryan Matthews' car explodes going down the back straight.
Lap 9 - Christopher Corbett gets a left front flat tyre and pits.
Lap 12 - Marcos Gordon gets a right front flat tyre and pits.
Lap 20 - Ben Atkins turns Joshua Michaels and himself into the turn 9. Both of them will retire.

Lap 23 - Matt Reeves turns the lapped car of Greg Phillips coming out of turn 10. Mak Webba and Kelvin Roddick make contact with Phillips and the wall, Jesse Wales was able to get in front of Reeves the lap prior to avoid all this. When coming around to pit entry, Matt Reeves looses control of his car, and hits the pit wall, retiring him from the race.
Lap 25 - Majority of the lead lap cars, including Wales and Carl Jones, pit for what is most likely the only pitstop of the race. 1st and 2nd Florida Orange and Kim Alayas stay out on track. Both Darlene Fenton and Sebastian Ztrem also make contact with the pit wall on entry, ending their races.
Lap 26 - Orange and Alayas now come into pit. Orange maintains her lead coming out of pits, but Alayas gets a great run out of the hairpin, and passes her teammate for the lead. Ellie Turner blows her engine, and comes to a stop on the grass in turn 3.
Lap 34 - Atlanta winner Daniel Leckliter blows up and stops right in the middle of the track on the back straight, and nearly gets collected by the race leader Alayas.
Lap 35 - Phil Nelson does everybody a huge favour and dumps Greg Phillips into the turn 9 wall.
Lap 36 - Running in position 7, Rafael Barbosa blows up while in front of a pack of cars, including Jones. Tiffany Matthews and Gerald Johnson wreck in turn 9, while battling for 9th. Mak Webba blows up coming out of turn 1.

Michaels upset and announces plans for 2014
After Joshua Michaels stepped out of his car, sighing. "I need a new car, that's it. I thought these Dodge's will do it." When asked about 2014 he said. "New make, new number, same team."

Telmax 100 B-Main
Due to how sort pit road is, only 4 cars will transfer instead of the usual 12. Ross Westrbook won the pole and lead all 13 laps to victory. The other transfers were Ellie Turner, and Robert and Phil Nelson. The only incidents of the race were Blowme Motorsports teammates Romain Raikonnen and Heywood Jablowme hitting the wall in turn 5 on separate occasions.

2014 Information.
Painting guide
Mod: Gen6BR-Cup (Templates here)
Contigs: None (I don't mind you don't use any, but if you want to slap some on)
Name: Just like in real life, please put the last name of the driver on the windshield banner. The font can be grabbed here
Rookie stripes: These will be enforced this season, so if you're driver is new to the series then they must have rookie stripes on the back of the car.
Ratings
New and returning teams can also have 4 cars per team, and I do encourage users to enter 4 cars, this is non-canon, so I'm not going to be too anal on realism. Joke teams and drivers will be immediately thrown out, so no Team Burr parody's.

Ratings
- Spoiler:
- For those that don’t have NASCAR Racing 2003 Season, each AI car has its own set of ratings that determine how competitive the car is.
The rating categories used in DeWalt Cup are Driver and Car. Driver has 8 fields, and Car has 4:
Driver:
Aggression
Consistency
Finishing
Qualifying
Road Course
Short Track
Speedway
Superspeedway
Car:
Aerodynamics
Chassis
Engine
Reliability
The Driver ratings are sent in by the owner of the character, and the Car ratings are sent in by the owner of the team. Each car on a team will carry the same Car ratings.
The DeWalt Cup Series will use a completely different ratings package in 2012, drawing inspiration from Rutana, who stole this off Ceej, who drew inspiration from F-Zero
There are 6 ratings to assign to each field, and each rating carries a numerical value:
A = 1
B = 2
C = 3
D = 4
E = 5
F = 6
Here are the MIN and MAX values for each rating:
A = 80-95
B = 70-85
C = 60-75
D = 50-65
E = 40-55
F = 0-45
You may assign ratings for the appropriate category (Driver or Car) at will, but there’s a catch: The total of the combined numerical values (1-6) of all of your ratings must be equal to or more than a certain number.
Here are the guidelines for Driver ratings:
First-year driver: 24 Points or More
Driver with no more than 1 victory: 23 Points or More
Driver with two or more wins: 21 Points or More. Drivers will be listed below.
Current DeWalt Cup Series Champion (Carl Jones): 20 Points or More
Here are the guidelines for Car ratings:
First-year team: 13 Points or More
Returning team with no more than 1 win: 12 points or More
Returning team with multiple wins: 11 Points or More. Teams will be listed below.
Championship-winning team: 10 Points or More
Please check your math before sending me your ratings. Anyone who fails to send ratings gets all F’s, and will be stuck in battles with the likes of Jay Jianoran and the Pay-driver-mobiles.
Pit crews will still be 0-100.
Drivers that can have 21 points or more:
Kim Alayas
Kelvin Roddick
Florida Orange
Ike Durbin
Teams that can have 11 points or more:
Alacrity Motorsports
Shadowmark Motorsports
New and returning teams can also have 4 cars per team, and I do encourage users to enter 4 cars, this is non-canon, so I'm not going to be too anal on realism. Joke teams and drivers will be immediately thrown out, so no Team Burr parody's.
