After the three Skullcandy, Inc. cars finished dead last in the A main, it was a little awkward in the plane ride home. Especially since Ike Durbin and Kelvin Roddick took eachother out of the race. Despite the drivers showing dissapointment, they all seemed to be over it for the most part.
Ike Durbin: Well that was awkward, wasn't it? But really, that was my fault. I smacked the wall and came down into Kelly. My b.

Matt Reeves: It sucks cause I won the C main and finished third in the B mainto get in the race. I didnt see that the track was blocked till it was too late. But its ok. I'm enjoying listening to Mix Master Durbin play with his sound board.
They all enjoyed the rest of their flight, while Durbin acted as DJ, mixing some beats on his soundboard that he carries everywhere. Reports were the plane landed in some lake somewhere, but this has not been confirmed.

After a bit of spring break, The DeWalt Cup rolled along to Indiana, for the Discount Tire 100 at Lucas Oil Raceway. When the first bunch of officials arrived at the track, they noticed that 3 people were already there, as well as a plane. Skullcandy Inc, drivers Kelvin Roddick, Ike Durbin, and Matt Reeves, as well as there plane, crash landed in the little lake inside turn 4 of the raceway. All 3 drivers were okay, as they hopped aboard their Dodges for first practice.
Qualifier
Kim Alayas had no trouble at all unlike Sonoma, as she cruised to any easy victory. Derek Resnek got spun coming out of turn 4, but no caution came out. On lap 27 last place runner Kyle Shock spun in turn 4 after getting a bit of help from Robert Nelson.
Also; 1 700th post.

The Skullcandy, Inc. team, who has been strong all season but lacked the results, had an interesting entrance into the LOR, as their plane crashed into a lake. This is what the drivers had to say:
Ike Durbin: Well, with this being my home race, I wanted to make a memorable entrance. Not what I expected, but it was fun! I would do that again. Sucks that my soundboard got fried in the lake though. Oh well.
Kelvin Roddick: I nearly crapped my pants when we dropped. I started thinking, Well, this is it. I'm dying here. And I looked to the right and see Ike just laughing like a maniac like it was some sorta roller coaster. Sometimes I question his sanity.
Matt Reeves: I thought I was gonna die in a BMX competition once. I went headfirst into a dirt hill.

A new team showed up to 777 Speedway for preseason testing. Poke Motorsports, led by Seth Lucas Owen William Poke III is looking for a slot into the Dewalt Cup.

Discount Tire 100 at Lucas Oil Raceway review

But would lose the lead to Florida Orange in turn 1.
1st caution. Kevin Hunter goes wide in turn 4...
...and causes Joshua Michaels and Dylan Andrew to spin on the main straight in front of a large pack of cars.
Michaels then gets rear-ended by Marcus Johnson
Orange leads the restart.
The engine lets go on Robert Nelson's Ford, he'll finish 42nd
4 laps later Richard Scott gets the same problem
Dylan Andrew has developed electrical problems, and stops his cars on the inside of turn two, but the race remains under green.
Ben Atkins cuts a tire down while running well, inside the top 10.
2nd caution. Visually upset, Atkins decides to cut off his teammate Dick Phillip...
...who in turn gets spun by a slow Marcus Johnson.
Ross Westbrook goes to the garage under caution because he thinks something may have broken, the team later reports it was a camshaft
Orange again leads on the restart, with lapped cars on the inside, led by Matt Reeves who had a pit strategy go wrong on him due to the caution
Skyler Berman who was 3rd on the restart pits one lap later due the fuel rig being broken, so the car didn't get the fuel it needed to get to the end.
3rd caution. Steve Stevenson goes wide in turn 4, causing a 3-wide situation with him, Bryan Vickers, and Kirby Pardus...
...causing Pardus to hook the left rear of Vickers...
...and Vickers comes back across the track in front of Pardus, causing both to spin.
Orange leads the field to the restart
Pardus again gets into some one coming out of turn 4, turning Mark Griffin...
...into the inside wall, surprisingly there was no caution.
This is a touch break for Mark as this was his last race before cousin Ryan returns from injury.
Because of the heavy lap traffic with a few laps to go, Orange is now being challenged for the lead for the first time in this race, by both her teammates Kim Alayas and Jesse Wales. Alayas has gotten on the outside line which has more grip and found a risky hole between Denny Tyler and Tiffany Matthews to attempt to take the lead...

Ratings for Bristol One-offs
1. Each ratings block has four categories

Michaels did his usual interview and walked off into the trailer as he prepares to go Road Course racing, he will test out the track then go to Utica Rome so he can prepare if he gets into the Dirt/Gravel trap.
