Brad Teague in the 4. Danny Efland in the 08. Tim Andrews in the 39. 71's withdrawn. Justin Jennings in the 52.
Also, back to 2011 for Tri-Star. Malsam's gone, so Jeff Green's in the 44 while Bliss goes to the 19. Wonder what the plan is this week. Put someone in to park the 10 or have Green park the 44 and withdraw the 10...

Charles Lewandoski's in the 10 now. So for the first time in 80 years, we might just see Jeff Green run more than the first 100 yards of a race this weekend. I'm anxious to see who's better between him and Bliss. There's also the possibility they'll park both the 44 and the 10 though. Hope that doesnt happen and Green gets a shot

I wonder why everyone talks about the Nationwide Series more than the Sprint Cup on here, no offence but just wondering why.

I actually watch the Nationwide races more than the cup races because I like that the cars look like the street cars, and that people take chances, on strategy and on the track, that they wouldn't in the cup race.

This should make Alta happy. Blake Koch will drive Sr2 Motorsports' 24 car with sponsorship from Toyota USA. Blake confirmed that he will run the full race.

Ya sure?I thought I read that Black Koch was driving the 24. Ya know, Blake's evil Satan-worshipping twin.

more to talk about drivers that aren't racing for points.
Re: OneMain Financial 200 - Nationwide
Guess Malsam's cash ran out and the team wasn't willing to keep him on talent.

SR2's cars aren't slow usually. Unless Derek White is the one driving....

Re: OneMain Financial 200 - Nationwide
Only 4 times this year has the #24 finished on the lead lap, Derek White was one of them. The other three, Daytona, Talladega, and Indy with Kenny Wallace.Daxam_Stark wrote:Alta wrote:PKligBKFan wrote:This should make Alta happy. Still haven't learned from that bold prediction you made on Jeff Gordon not making The Chase, I see.
And yes, I know it's a backmarker team, but at least they have a good chance of getting a somewhat decent finish out of it.

White's been slowest in qualifying both times he's been in the 24 and the one time in the 00. The ONLY reason he finished as well as he did at Montreal was due to Villeneuve's antics that caused 837,000 cautions toward the end of the race.

It definitely wasn't the car though, it was the racer. Scratch that, not racer, the person driving.

Also I wonder if Ricky Steinhouse will have a repeat of last Dover race and throw away the championship again?

Logano can't beat a second rate driver for a second rate series for a second rate team without wrecking them. Wow.
Joey Logano drives with his head up his ass. I think Roger Penske has made a colossal mistake in hiring him.

Seems that bad luck hit anyone that got near Logano.
Allgaier broke a trackbar running 2nd.
Hornish has a flat tire running 2nd.
Kahne misses a shift on the final restart running 2nd.

15th: Jeff Green
16th: Danica Patrick.
I can't help but ask, why is she getting a full-time Cup ride in a Championship (who is getting Ryan Newman's crew) winning team next year?

I think it's because she wants to, you know, get more talent in NASCAR. I mean she's kinda had a difficult year so far, but moving full-time to Sprint Cup next year is something big for her, as she may get the chance to race with the big guys, that is if her car isn't so slow or she starts 'n' parks.

At Chicagoland, she couldn't get pass Scott Speed.BWardboy88 wrote:Spannerhead29 (Nelson) wrote:I can't help but ask, why is she getting a full-time Cup ride in a Championship (who is getting Ryan Newman's crew) winning team next year?

SCOTT SPEED
She plain and simply does not deserve to be in the Cup Series.
Oh well, looking on the bright side of a shitty race, Michael Annett finishes as the best Nationwide driver, and equals his career best finish of 3rd. This does seem biased but I reckon he'll be the next first-time Nationwide winner. And it seems I thought wrong again about Tri-Star dumping Tayler Malsam. Props to Jeff Green getting top 15 and Mike Bliss nearly getting a top 10. Oh, and this is what Alta is doing right now

well decisions were decisions for her.
oh and I know what you mean at Scott Speed too.
Re: OneMain Financial 200 - Nationwide
Interesting fact, in the last 3 seasons, a different Cup driver has swept both Dover Nationwide races (2010: Kyle Busch, 2011: Carl Edwards, 2012: Joey Logano.).
Re: OneMain Financial 200 - Nationwide
I'm pretty sure you can't do that at a local park with bros. :/Spannerhead29 (Nelson) wrote:
