Nationwide+Gen 6?
Just a thought, but do you think it would be a good idea for the Nationwide series to move towards a 'Gen 6' style of stock car? Well, move towards that while keeping some of the attributes of the current car?
Just wondering if anyone has given it any thought.

As of now, I would say not quite yet. I don't see the demand for one as of now and the car hasn't suffered anywhere near the amount of problems the Cup COT has so I don't see the need for one quite yet. Would be great to see, though I see Toyota having a interesting problem with making a huge enough difference between the Cup Camry and the Nationwide Camry (unless they switch to something like the Avalon).

NO!, NO!,NO!
With the new car,NWS finally has two of the things it's needed for over 25 years.
1.) a unique design that is different from the cup cars
2.) A unique (For the most part) Brand Identity that is separate from cup.
We're also slowly but surely seeing less and less cuppies and stronger regulars too.
I fear a move to the Gen6 style car (Gen4 for NWS) would ruin that.

The Nationwide cars are already Gen-6-ish at the front anyway. If they just let the manufacturers do the same thing to the side panels I think what you're implying here would be pretty much done.

I really like the way template of the cars have been designed for this season, so I'd say the Nationwide Series sticks with the cars they've got right now.

Although I think it would be a great idea for the NNS, its best if they stick to the cars they have now.

Re: Nationwide+Gen 6?
There should stick to what they have now. The Nationwide Series already has brand idenity. In addition to that, the racing is often better with the NNS cars. It is easy to forget this, but before the big wreck there was some decent racing in the Nationwide Daytona race compared to the comparatively boring 500.
