- Spoiler:
- Novakovsky in ICU after lap 27 accident
After a disastrous accident which saw Grigoriy Novakovsky go head on into the turn 2 armco at about 250 mph, reports were that Novakovsky was in critical condition and transported to a hospital. At around midnight, in a press conference by Griffith Motorsports, they announced that Novakovsky remained in the ICU after having emergency surgery for a ruptured spleen and a cervical fracture. There is an almost guaranteed possibility that there are more injuries that went unannounced for the time being. It was said that Novakovsky only has about a 15-20% chance of survival. At the end of the conference, Jacob Eichholtz was announced to be the replacement driver for the #49.

- Spoiler:
- Terra International rebounds from Las Vegas by finishing in the top 10.
Greg Woodard and Dan Foray qualified towards the back of the field based off of points. However, their Lycoia Interceptors were set up for this track and blew towards the front. Woodard, who had not made the last race due to qualifier shenanigans, was ecstatic finishing in the top 10 after being up far as 4th place.
Dan Foray nearly got the lead with 2 to go, however, he was forced to the high side by Barry Juveno. He would finish in 3rd, right behind Clair Auxier.

Dan Foray: @Barry Juveno: You're making Ryan Jefferies seem like a good person... be a little more humble when winning, K? BTW, 3rd is good with me!
Greg Woodard: Prayers out for the drivers in critical condition due to the officials... permitted aero packages. #whatweretheythinking
Greg Woodard: And who the hell allowed Kill-Patrick on pole? Or even allow that moving chicane to race... he was indirectly or directly responsible for those wrecks!

Benson to offer therapy to children in attendance
"Those were some really horrific wrecks today, and I'm sure that all of the children were just terrified to see all that happen. That's why I'm offering private, one-on-one therapy sessions in my warm van to comfort any child who witnessed an accident today."

Delgado Happy for Stoneman's First Top 10, Disappointed He Couldn't Challenge for Win
It was a mixed bag for the MRD Motorsports cars, as Flint Stoneman powered his way to his first career top 10 finish, while Tom Delgado fell back late after being held up by a lapped car and had to settle for 13th. Whilst Stoneman couldn't be reached for comment (he was making "Ptera *pronounced T-eh-ra* Burgers" for his crew), Delgado took time out to say a few words.
"Really glad that someone on this team wants to win. Flint earned this top 10 and he should celebrate. As for the MiniDrivers team, we were up there, but we got pinned behind one of the backmarkers and fell back in a hurry. Nothing much you can do about it when you're trying to weave your way through traffic at 250 + MPH. We'll try to do better next time" Delgado said.
Next on the MRD agenda: Win a race, and get A.J. Murphy's season kickstarted again. That, and get at least one of the MRD cars locked into races. As it stands, the #37, #87, and the #67 part-time entry will still have to race their way into events.

Taylor Apologetic To Jonser, Praying for Novokosky
Cameron Taylor had the following to say after the race: "I feel kind of bad about what happened to Craig. I didn't think he would swerve down like that. Grigory, if you see this, we're praying for you buddy. That was a nasty hit. I don't think the aero package they have here is a good idea. The Autoring is a really great track. It has multiple grooves, and you can really race someone here. But it wasn't designed for these kind of speeds, and the officials need to realize that. We had a strong car today. Winsalot's super speedway program has improved by leaps and bounds, and now Greg and I have cars that can challenge for the win. Our engine builders are really top notch. It was a shame we couldn't get a top five or top ten, but you just have to take what you can get.

- Spoiler:
- Azzaretto in serious condition after wreck, likely out for the year
FAC Motorsports announced that driver Frank Azzaretto is in serious condition after hitting the inside wall at 250 MPH with no safer barrier in his PCC debut. They did not disclose what his injuries were, but did state that he will likely be out for the remainder of the season. FAC has announced that up and coming dirt racer Chuck Johnson will be in the car up until the European Tour. The team will decide whether to keep him for the whole season based in his performance.

Re: Race 03: New York
- Spoiler:
- Marshall in a critical, but stable condition
Marshall has broken his left arm, leg & a few ribs, as well as sustaining some internal injuries from his lap 19 wreck with Frank Azzaretto. Marshall is responsive but only by lightly shaking his head. Australian Motorsports released this statement:
'We're not certain about how long he'll be out for, but we won't let him back in the car until Grand Detour at the earliest. He'll be replaced by Michael Grant, who was a great rival & competitor against Marshall & Jones back in their karting days. This is also the last time the team is racing on a super speedway track until the officials get rid of that bloody aero package, & we mean that. Don't expect us to show up to Talladega if that aero package is still around. The only reason Talladega got the most ratings was because of the concern the fans had about the driver's safety.'

Spannerhead Racing race report: New York
- Spoiler:
- Robert Nelson finished 24th, 1 lap down in his New York debut.
Robert moved to equal 27th in driver points.
The #029 moved to equal 27th in owner points.
Robert Nelson's comments: "Sucked that we lost the draft early but after looking at the tapes and watching all the wrecks made me glad I was racing with myself for most of the race. My thoughts are with Novakovsky right now, I hope he pulls few, we may all be rivals on the track but we're all a family when an incident like this happen."
The team is now off to Carbondale Speedway.

Leckliter seriously injured in accident at New York Autoring
In a very terrible accident at the New York Autoring, Daniel Leckliter has broken a few ribs and his right index finger.
"When you fall down stairs, it seems like they just go on forever, but I'll just take it step by step."
It was also believed that he was intoxicated, and he plans on making the next race at Carbondale.
"I'm the team owner, I make the decisions around here, I don't care if my left arm is chopped off, I'll still drive....no wait, now that just sounds ridiculous, who drives a racecar with just a right arm?"

Sandy happy with 11th place finish
A good run for Barton Sandy put him in a happy mood after the PCC Cup race at New York Autoring, but forgot to put a bucket in the car after puking all over his cockpit after the race.
"That race was the longest and dizziest I have felt in a long time, but I feel happy to finish in the top 15. I'll give the guys who clean my car a huge pay for it."
The 11th place finish puts Sandy out of the bubble to qualify for the next race.
