- Atkins questions the validity of winning car
Ben Atkins questions the car of the race winner Alexander Sybilton claiming that he is too incompetent to drive a car as well as he did. He believes that the car is illegal since Sybilton has been relatively slow in his other attempts in motorsports, and that Dash Cup cars are similar to those he tried to drive, and that he should not have done that good.
"I don't get it! He's so weird! How can he be that good all of a sudden? I don't see how he beat out Kellan and Patrick, since they were looking really good, and they've both been absolutely fantastic this year in general!"
Atkins has put in a dispute against Sybilton, but nothing is expected to come out of it.

- Spoiler:
- Ambercroft shows no mercy for her comeback after being injured in the Dash Cup
After Ashley Ambercroft made her return to the 220 car after being injured, she showed the rest of the field that her previous status as an injured driver would not hinder her skills. She qualified 23rd but brought the Nikon Lycoia Brute home in 8th place. She was congratulated by the team on a job well done. Charles Darson, who drove the car in Ambercroft's absence was promoted to be her crew chief for the rest of the season and going into 2013. He took up the job after the former crew chief ate some bad sushi and couldn't deal with the race.
Ambercroft would celebrate with the team, regardless of the fact that she didn't win. Her injuries, although somewhat devestating, could not stop her determination to get to the front. "I could have snatched a top 5 if the race was a bit longer. Also, what was up with Sybilton's car? I thought he was supposed to be a incompetent douchebag with a large ego... but yet he pulls off a stunt by dominating Motegi? Seriously, I think the officials should have a real close look at his car." She would then head back to her team tent to pack up to head to Spa GP.

- Spoiler:
Kroft Finishes Sixth; Questions SuzukaCorp.'s Decision
After Osaka, SuzukaCorp. announced that they would not retain Kade Kroft for the 2013 season due to not meeting expectations. However, a week after the announcement, at Motegi, Kroft gave it his all and finished sixth--tying his career best finish. When interviewed, Kroft challenged SuzukaCorp.'s decision to not retain him. "I don't know what more they want out of me. I may not be winning races or anything, but I'm not doing terrible either."
McMair Blows Up, Stays Positive
Matthias McMair made his sixth start of the Dash Cup season at Motegi, and despite having an engine failure that caused him to finish last, he kept a positive attitude. "I'm disappointed that our engine let go, but these guys gave me a great car today, like they always do. I couldn't be happier."
Rumors are that Ike Durbin, Inc. is looking to go full time next year with McMair behind the wheel of the car. McMair has one top-5 and three top-10s in six races this year, sitting 21st in points.

- Sooo close: Rogers places second at Motegi:
Princess Slow may not be much longer.
Kellan Rogers, impressing many in the Dash Cup paddock in her first two starts in the series, came oh-so-close to retiring the moniker bestowed on her by team owner Ryan Matthews, as she finished second in her first Dash Cup start on an oval at Twin Ring Motegi.
It was her first career podium finish.
"Damn it," she said after returning from the podium. "I really wanted to win this thing and shut Ryan up. We had a fantastic car today, and I just can't believe we couldn't get there.
"I'm so glad Trey made it out here," referring to ARLA driver Trey Ashby, whom Rogers has been seeing since they met at Indianapolis. "I think he had something to do with my doing so well. But to be honest, I really wanted to win for him. I think he'll take this, though."
She declined to comment on race winner Alexander Sybilton.
"I don't want to talk about that creep," she said. "He's been flirting with me non-stop since Osaka. He kept his distance this weekend, though. Trey being here had a lot to do with that, I hope."
Though Rogers also didn't comment on the protest of Sybilton's car by Atlantic Motorsports head Ben Atkins (who, coincidentally, Rogers will drive for in 2013), team owner Ryan Matthews did via phone.
"We'll join in the protest as well," he said. "Not just because of our own self-interest. Our people at Motegi told me something didn't look right with his car. Backmarker cars don't get good just because you switch drivers."
Whether or not anything comes of the protest remains to be seen. For now, Rogers will simply bask in the glow of her first podium finish in Dash Cup...perhaps, the first of many.

Dash Cup officials to take extended look at 7 car
After complaints from team owners and drivers, Dash Cup officials have decided to have an extended inspection on the 7 car. Drivers such as Ashley Ambercroft and third place finisher Patrick Eichholtz have spoken out via twitter, while Ryan Matthews was the first to join Atkins, again over twitter and verbally.
"We've taken these into consideration, and we will perform an extended inspection on the car. We expect the results to be out midway through the Spa weekend"

McArthur brings home best career finish
For Patrick McArthur, his debut season in the Dash Cup has been a disaster. But, today was a different story.
McArthur starting 5th, his best start of the year, ran in the top-7 for most of the day before falling to and finishing 10th after a late restart.
For McArthur, the run was as good as a win or a podium.
"We needed that. Not just me as a driver, but as a team. We had at least a 6-7th place car and just lost a little ground on that restart. I think we had some damage from when Andrew [O'Reilly] came across my nose, but no harm no foul there."
McArthur's run comes on the heels of the announcement that his team Euro-1, formerly Irish Pride Racing, has decided not to resign him for next season. McArthur has said that he wants to stay in the series if he can find a ride.

Jankovic expresses his feelings on the race
The normally calm Velmier Jankovic was in route to a podium finish when tire issues plagued his car. "I pushed the car too hard, nothing else I can say about that. However I would like to congratulate Kellen Rodgers on her maiden victory, no way in heck was the 7 legal. He blew by us like our cars were out of petrol, and let alone that creep who drives it, I just hope the British government finds out about that man for some law he's broken, becuase a man like that needs to be locked in jail or a mental assylum."

O'Reilly A Happy Camper After Motegi
After a mediocre performance at Osaka, Andrew O'Reilly and the rest of the Westockin Speidel Racing Team knew they needed to bounce back at the Twin Ring Motegi 50-lap event. The 11th race of the season proved to be a great bounce-back for the team. O'Reilly qualified his Speidel 3rd, and managed a 7th after being in the top-5 for almost the entire race.
"A fine day for the 'hole team. We had a fast car all weekend, and we were able to stay up front the 'hole race. I was hoping that we could stay in the top-5, but we got some contact after [Velmier] Jankovic stopped on track. I think we also got into Patrick [McArthur], but that seemed to be a whole racing incident, ya-know, with Jankovic and all that," said O'Reilly.
He was then asked about the legality of the race winner, Alexander Sybilton.
"I know some teams are protesting, but I really don't have anything to say about that sort of stuff. That's up to the team."
O'Reilly was also asked about his plans for the 2013 season.
"The team is great, and I would love to be back with them next year. I know with the unfortunate circumstances, and climbing into somebody else's car, that I never really had any time to adapt, but I think I've shown that I can race with all of these great drivers. I hope to be back next year," he said, before smiling and heading back to the team's hauler.
The 7th place finish, his 3rd of the season, now sits him 19th, 165 points back of points leader Arceneau. The next race for O'Reilly and the Westockin Speidel Racing Team is the famed Spa GP.

Justin Keith on the winner controversy
"Ben has no idea what the hell he's talking about, he just wants to whine that a driver he personally doesn't like won, just let it go dude."

Re: Race 11: Twin Ring Motegi
Alexander Sybilton: "I feel like a new man after today. I'm exhausted. Absolutely exhausted. This is absolutely the hardest race I've ever been in" Sybilton, an aristocratic English driver has long been plagued with allegations that he is a ride buyer. His results in British Touring cars have been largely hit or miss: despite having four wins, he has never finished in the top ten in series points despite competing in three entire seasons. There have been concerns with the legality of the number 7 STS by other drivers. An unnamed source at the team said "Alex's attitude is why people think there's something fishy. The guys arrogant, but he can drive"
