I'd believe it if they're calling rain for Sunday.

The central and northern parts of England are flooded, even quite heavy rain in the south in London. I don't think the race will make the full distance.

The way this weather is playing out this weekend, I have this feeling that we could be seeing another first time winner this year.

I know some who I think are very capable of becoming new race winners:
Michael Schmacher
Komi Raikkonen
Romain Grosjean
Sergio Perez

There will be. In Northampton, it is expected to rain all weekend and it maybe it could be the same at Silverstone as well.

You are aware of the weather warnings in central and northern England, right? It's expected to flood slightly further north in Birmingham, about 80 miles or so away.

Well yeah I am. But all I can hope for the race on Sunday is that it will be a good one, in fact it me might remind me of the 2008 race there. Also I wouldn't try and worry about the weather, if you think about it, the rain can produce very exciting action in any F1 races.

Not if the track is flooded, and you are forced to sit through the day until there is a chance to drive.

Well I ain't got tickets to go to the race anyway, so maybe I won't get so wet if I were going there.

Well we'll just have to wait and see what the weather has in store, which will probably be rain (mostly).

Guess that sort of happens when you park your car on track twice in one practice.

This is the shit I was talking about. Look out for me at the back of the Ferrari garage as well, as I wait in boredom for the weather to pass.

And well especially Massa because his season has been nothing short of a completely disaster. I hope he can get a great finish in tomorrow's race because I'll be honest, I do think very highly of him.
Re: British GP
So, there's some controversy over whether or not Alonso backed off for yellow flags at the end of Q2 after Grosjean spun. Alonso says he backed off, but Los MiniDrivers posted this photo on their Twitter feed, which shows Alonso's last two laps of Q2, broken down by sector; look at the third sector for both laps:

Edit: Alonso cleared of any wrongdoing by stewards.

No, seriously. Ferrari is going to write the new technical regulations (can't find the article, dropped off the front page of Autosport I think)... and Alonso's third sector times look a bit suspicious when yellows were supposedly out...

As a far as I know, Light Rain is expected during the race but hopefully there won't be a huge downpour.

It will be proof read by the other teams, so why would it make a difference?

Re: British GP
Whoever writes the regulations will have a massive advantage, regardless if the other teams proofread it or not -- because the authors will undoubtedly know how to take advantage of them well before anyone else.

Re: British GP
I think the McLaren's sucked in this race. The rain ruined their qualifying runs yesterday and despite Button getting the last point from 18th on the grid, they really didn't do so much throughout the race so they weren't really much to talk about it. Also, I think that Felipe Massa deserves a raise a Ferrari, his 4th place finish could possibly be showing some signs of improvement of him after his Season so far has been such a disaster.

Not likely. Massa has been a complete bust after his incident and again, shows nothing today. It is pretty much assured now that he is gone. I can't feel bad for a driver when they are getting manhandled in a Ferrari
Maldonado for reject of the race. Nice going there, idiot. As Perez said it best: "He is a very stupid driver"

Massa actually finished 4th. He wasn't doing too bad today for once. And I don't think much needs to be said about Maldonado.

$12,300 to Maldonado for being "a danger" to others. Perez was very vocal about Maldonado's driving, demanding a much bigger fine for his carelessness.

Should be suspended, not "fined".
