Mouta downsizes to one car, Marchankov to drive potential entry
Aleksandr Mouta has now decided to step out of the driver's seat and focus on running a team and bringing up Russian talent. Only then, he has said, that he wants to return to driving. Nikolas Marchankov has been announced as the most probable candidate for the ride at this time. Although other drivers have also been in contention, suck as Czech drivers Filip Kvôrak and Tomâs Furik. He has also said that he may scale down to only one car, but hasn't made an official announcement on any other car details yet.
Team Russia (Теам Руссиа) - Ford
#95 - Николас Марцханков (RUS)?/Филип Квôрак (CZE)?/Томâс Фурик (CZE)?

Re: 2012 Silly Season Thread
Wow, the cars were due July 1st, too? I'll get to posting requests for my cars if they aren't already requested/painted. Last update on the Russian fail team.
Aleksandr Mouta has confirmed that if his team will get accepted, Nikolas Marchankov, a 23-year-old Russian rally car driver, will move to the PCC Cup Series in a part-time schedule to drive this #95 car. The finalized entry form looks like this.
Теам Руссиа - Форд
#95 - Николас Марцханков (РУС) - Ноне

Carl Wednsday to PCC Cup Part Time
Carl Wednsday will enter the PCC Cup Series fray for Wheel of Justice Racing on a part time basis. His employer, 19 Action News will provide sponsorship.
"Sources say that the PCC Cup Series is full of weirdos, including a pedophile, a 500-pound man, a fake sick dayer, and a guy named Stringfellow. Well that leads to an investigation so shocking, we rated it PG-13: Terror of the Track. It also looks like people buy tickets to watch these strange dudes in action. What is this, a sporting event or something?"

Ricketts to go part-time in PCC Cup 2012
23 year old Georgia native Charles Ricketts will go part-time in the PCC Cup in 2012. He was looking to find a ride in the ASCC but couldn't find one in time, and so he is moving to this Series with his own team.

Eh, I think I'll just troll the one-offs this season. Run part time next year or if a slot opens later this year. Nothing's gonna happen in a few days, that's for sure.

Re: 2012 Silly Season Thread
Preseason thoughts
Casey Lester: I'm psyched to be back in PCC this season. Me and Ike are hoping to do our 100% best this season for Mr. Griffin's team. These cars, I'm hoping, will drive as good as they look, I mean, I'm in love with this 44 car. I love the Mopar logo on the side. It's a shame Dodge isn't coming back, but I'm driving with Dodge sponsorship again, so the manufacturer is following me. Anyways, I'm hoping to get off to a good start so we don't get stuck in the back the whole season.
Preston Bell: This season is gonna be great, ah can feel it! Ah'm thinkin' that Chris might even outrun me most of the year. He was just a drahver who needed a lift in the series and he went from Mesa to Stephans. Ah'm really happy the team kept him for this season. He's got some potential with the 83 team and ah wish Kenny Stephans the best of a recovery. If he wants to get back into a car at some point, ah'll step out an' let him drive. This 75 team should be excellent as always.
Lenny Jacobs: I've lost count of how many thank yous I've said to Brian Gallagher for giving me the opportunity with Paloma for the six races he was injured. *I tell him that he volunteered for the ride* Well, still. I didn't think I'd do as well as I did and get the spot. I'm stoked to be running full-time this year and I can't wait to show my stuff at Road Atlanta.
Barry Juveno: Lenny, don't be so sure about dat, 'cause Paloma's got a target on their back. Dat motherf**ker Elias betta be wearin' dat helmet a little tighter. He'll need da extra protection. Not only for his drivin', but how hard I'ma slam da sh*t outta him. Ya also took me outta my home race. You f**kin' think I take kindly ta that? Nah. Not one f**kin' bit. Dis team'll give me the best and I mean the best equipment; Somethin' Paloma won't f**kin' have. I ain't gonna aim fo' just one Paloma car, since dey all look da f**kin' same anyway. I'm winnin' my f**kin' championship whetha dat idiot Elias likes it or not. He needs to take some more drivin' lessons.
Casey: Well, take some English classes first, Barry. *high-five from Lenny*

MRD Motorsports Applies for 3rd Part-Time Car, to be Driven by Tom Delgado at New York Autoring (and potentially other races)
The paperwork was sent in at the last second, but MRD Motorsports has requested a 3rd part-time entry to be fielded for Tom Delgado. MRD officials would not completely reveal their plans, but said the car would be numbered 67, carry various sponsorship depending on the races they enter, and would be driven by the former "International Racing Superstar" Tom Delgado. Delgado has since dropped the nickname after he gained massive criticism for it from his 8th place finish at Charlotte last season.
More details were released later in the evening about their plans, and it was confirmed by officials that the team would like to run Delgado at several other spots, including the entry to the Cleveland Grand Prix.

One thing everyone needs to do for most NR03 leagues: have very low expectations. Unless if you're in super-good, 'won the title 3 straight years' equipment.

New York Autoring is known as Riki, Las Vegas Autoring is known as Piggz Speedway(?), alot of the tracks used have different names, among them are Decatur, Karjala (I think), and quite a few others.

New York Autoring = Riki Raceway Day or Night
Las Vegas Autoring = Piggz Stadium V2
Decatur = Hawgenheim 2
Karjala = nothing else, Karjala is the actual name of the track for NR2003

Yeah I know but I want to try different ratings at different tracks (I wouldn't do all the tracks) to see which ones worked the best. I'm the most competitive guy you'll ever meet. (that why I'm doing this) But I understand I'm a rookie driver with a rookie team so I'm not going to be as competitive as other guys.
