Now that I realized that. Now I'm not sure if I want Timmy Hill or J.J. Yeley going home. Hmm. Now that you brought that up, I honestly rather see Timmy going home now.

I just came to a realization.
Either the American-Israel trash or the #23 car is going to get into the race, since only ONE car is going home.

He was a rookie in last year's Nationwide Series and as far as I'm concerned from looking on Wikipedia, he is racing the rest of the season in the no.37 poynt.com ford with Max Q Motorsports.
Re: Subway Fresh Fit 500 Race Thread
So, since only one person is going home, I'm going to have to choose between Timmy Hill and the American-Isreal trash...

Re: Subway Fresh Fit 500 Race Thread
You guys need to explain to me why all of you absolutely hate Timmy Hill. For the most part, he stays out of the way and doesn't cause any accidents. Sure, he's slow, but that really isn't his fault. Look at the equipment he's in.
Re: Subway Fresh Fit 500 Race Thread
Pay driver. Literally jumped from legends to Nationwide. There are other drivers out there more talented than him. Does that explain everything?

Not really. You guys are very naive to not notice how a lot of drivers in the ARCA and NASCAR world are pay drivers.

Kyle Busch currently top the practice timing board with a best lap of 26.05 seconds. Mark Martin moves up to second with a best time of 26.06 while Tony Stewart is in third with a best time of 26.12.

in fairness, Koch had twice as much experience in Stock cars, and a slightly better / more experienced team and still got outpaced by Hill for at least 60-75% of the races last year.

The MacDonald team was pretty crap last year, didn't matter who was driving those cars, they were outpaced by Rick Ware's cars, which used an armada of parkmobiles in addition to Timmy Hill's cash.
The gap between Timmy Hill (last in practice) and Michael McDowell (second last) is the largest gap between any two cars.
Not all pay drivers are slow, but Timmy Hill is out of his depth. How he has a fanbase (other then that he's gone onto some NR2003 and iRacing teamspeak servers) is a mystery to me.

I do think Timmy should be running cup, but on the flip side this guy has so little experience, he should be the second coming of John Wes Townley, Mike Borkowski, and Chris Diamond all in one, and yet he's held his own and done well considering how rushed he has been.

Re: Subway Fresh Fit 500 Race Thread
Once again pretzel, you fail to realize that he was in a trash car at the start of the year, where Hill had the car for the whole year. Koch started tearing hill apart from about mid-season to the end of the year.Mother of Invention wrote:Alta wrote:Remember how i tore this apart last year.Mother of Invention wrote:Alta wrote:Blake Koch is much better then him. IMO There's no reason Koch shouldn't have a Cup ride, He's the next Regan Smith so to speak.

Timmy Hill won ROTY in Nationwide on a NASCAR Press vote. Ryan Truex scored the most rookie points, despite only running half the schedule.
