Sure you can join, you just need to download TeamSpeak then get the right server to connect to, and if I remember, you don't need a microphone or headset to race if you don't have to, although the majority of the people on our server do have one or the other.

Well, the league is done due to low car counts, as a result the Cup series has ended with Daniel Leckliter getting his first and last GOMA Cup championship. Trucks has ended as well, giving Ben Atkins his second straight championship the series.
Formula 5 will still be going.

So it was decided to do one last race at Homestead to finish the season, and it ended up with Josh Batista winning the race and Daniel Leckliter winning the championship.navycook75 wrote:Well, the league is done due to low car counts, as a result the Cup series has ended with Daniel Leckliter getting his first and last GOMA Cup championship. League's not really done, just change of name and format (kinda). F5 is still running (because why would it stop), there will be an rFactor series starting up, and a series with the Z28.
Stay tuned.

Ben Atkins dominated the first ever race under the new Weekend Road Warriors banner (I think) at Road Atlanta.
Next week we're at Daytona, which will notably be the last race for Joe Branch. Will he go out with a bang or will we see someone else be victorious?

I believe from what I've heard, Cliff Raymond may also make his last start in that race as well, I could be wrong though.

I know, but as I said before didn't mean to do it. I had a big run out of Turn 2 when I was trying the outside and I attempted to do the switchback and misjudged it completely. But for the best, Tanner deserved that win considering I helped him out with the setup he was using which I was using too, and it worked perfectly for him.
And I guess with some of the things we said afterwards, it was probably just one of those 'Heat of the moment' situations, where everyone gets all fired up.

Re: Global Online Motorsports Association
The GOMA Cup series made it's return for a final season today for the GOMA Shootout. It was open to everybody unlike the past few seasons. After 40 laps of hard racing, Ike Durbin took home his first ever online win. Steve Rada finished second, Ben Atkins third, Two time shootout winner Cliff Raymond fourth, and four time GOMA Cup champion Joe Branch fifth.
The GOMA Cup boys and girls will return to Daytona for the Daytona 175 next week, where we will kick off our final Cup season.

Re: Global Online Motorsports Association
And with the conclusion of tonight's race, another Daytona 175 is in the books, with Cliff Raymond taking his second consecutive victory in the race after a caution on the first of two laps in a Green-White-Checkered ended the event, solidifying him as a Chase contender and earning a chance at the GOMA Triple Crown. Daniel Leckliter nearly broke the curse finishing second after being involved in a wreck earlier, yours truly wound up third, with Josh Batista finishing fourth and Luc Pellerin rounding out the top five!

RPM doesn't support RAR files. You have to upload the car file itself.Mccc457 wrote:I'm guessing this would go here since RPM seems dead?

Re: Global Online Motorsports Association
RPM is not a very well-made service. I used to have a .rar file of cars (20+ MB) that I would just append ".car" to (2_cars.rar.car) and RPM would accept it.
Then when you download it, remove ".car" from the filename and bam, rar file with all your stuff in it.
So you technically CAN upload a rar file. If you're sneaky about it. There's just no point to do it unless you want to save car slots (RPM allows a max of 8 cars per league).

I've been racing online for four years now, and finally the day came when I won my first online points-paying race. Though only six other people had showed up, Batista and I were brawling for the lead for the first half of the race until he blew up. It was smooth sailing from there.
