Congratulations to Rutana (BurningThunder) on becoming the latest GOMA winner. BTW BBoy, some of the OP info needs changing.

With Mike Rutana getting his maiden win last night in the GOMA Cup race at Daytona, the list has dwindled by one of those who have yet to win in GOMA competition (F5 included). That list is below, including their best finish. If I don't have it, feel free to say what it is. Razz

Robert Nelson (Best finish: 2nd 5x)
Tom Delgado (Best finish: 2nd)
Daniel Leckliter (Best finish: 2nd)
Ike Durbin (Best finish: 4th)
Tyler Haney (Best finish: 5th 2x)
Tanner Clason (Best finish: 7th) (Boardgame doesn't count Razz )
Greg Woodard (Best finish: 15th)
Alex "The Mayor" Whitt (Best finish: ???)
Barney Ward (Best finish: ???)

Odds on the Next First Time Winner in GOMA
Robert Nelson - Even
Daniel Leckliter - 3/1
Tyler Haney - 9/2
Ike Durbin - 12/1
Tanner Clason - 12/1
Alex "The Mayor" Whitt - 15/1
Barney Ward - 25/1
Greg Woodard - 25/1
Tom Delgado - N/A (Doesn't race anymore)

Pic of the finish last night, Rutana won, me and Cliff Raymond tied for second, Drew Eisenman 4th, Tyler Haney 5th, Eric Wright 6th, Peter Short 7th and Ben Atkins 8th.

I lead most laps, the first time that's ever happened to me.

Best Finish 15th during the original GOMA SSSS series (Default .gns)

I had a shot at winning during the last time I raced in the NTS at talledega (around christmas) but family issues forced me offline.

At the rate the SSSS season is going, I'll have a championship before a win. Granted its only 2 races in, but still.

I will try and race tonight at Texas World Speedway for the NTS... Hopefully I can do well.

I don't think I'm going to be racing due to my laptop throwing a fit and shutting down during PRACTICE.

I may consider racing here again while ISARS is in off season. My talent has improved if I do say so myself, I'm just slow.

I will never know fast. Crying or Very sad

You could (for the time being, at least) still race as part of the keyboard brigade.

Leckliter and Frank both equaled their best finishes, and Haney improved his to 4th.

This.

you just need to stop wrecking when we tell us to, I know it's practice but we need to get a feel for the track without having people wreck.

What happened last night, I completely ruined my own reputation. Not much people are gonna respect me anymore like Cliff Raymond after what went down, I take all responsibility for my actions. I'm very passionate about Online Racing, and I let my wrecking antics take over my passion. It makes think I no longer enjoy NR2003 anymore, as it put me in a negative mood too. There's no point in doing this because it was me being a total retard to everyone else, and I think I may have lost a lot of respect as a result. I tend to overthink these things, which gets the better of me, and I still can't get my head over the situation too, which is actually rather hard for to me to do.

Just sim racing bro. Don't take it seriously. When it's official practice time it's time to get serious and learn to drive the track.

Just a stupid thing everyone will get over with within 5 minutes anyway. Don't take it to heart.

Well that's a lesson learned. I was doing okay in Practice before I went badly mental, I just regret my actions and could've done well in the race itself.

You'll get it eventually, just keep trying and one will come to you Razz

Also, the East-West series is scheduled to begin right after SSSS ends, with the first race on Saturday, May 4th! Drivers will compete not only for an overall championship, but also for a regional championship on tracks throughout the United States. We will be using is the Nationwide 2008 mod.

Rookie Stripes are optional, but if you want to, go for it.

We welcome new drivers to the series, so you're more than welcome to join.
