Global Online Motorsports Association
Hello,
I have decided to start up my own NR2003 online league, GOMA, in conjunction with ISRA. The main GOMA series is Friday Night Thunder, a weekly series starting THIS FRIDAY using the NCTS09 mod, which you can get right here. Basically what I want this series to be is a simplier, easier to drive series but one that is fun at the same time. Even if you have never raced online, we welcome you here with open arms. Since this is run with ISRA, GOMA gives you an opportunity to hone your skills before you race in ISRA's Formula 5 or Cup Series. This is a great way to grow the NR2003 community!
The forum signups and schedule can be found here: http://goma.forumotion.com/
here
Schedule:
Friday Nights:
Server Opens @ 9:05 PM EST
Qualifying @ 9:30 PM EST
Race at 9:35 PM EST
Fixed setups will be used for each race.

Schedule sure looks interesting. Just throwing a wild guess out there, but I'm guessing Milwaukee Mile Blu has blue walls and/or pavement.

Well, I'm interested tosee how this series end of the season standings turn out. I've actually been screwing around with this mod for a couple months, but can't get a whole lot of speed out of it.

Re: Global Online Motorsports Association
Milwaukee Mile Blu has blue walls because if you haven't heard, the upcoming Milwaukee IndyCar race has blue walls. So Joe is making a blue-walled edition of Milwaukee.
Now flyingturns, I know you are banned from ISRA, but I will try to pull some strings for you to be allowed on the TS if you want to race. If you go in the TS just to sit in the ISRA lobby, that will not go over well.

Re: Global Online Motorsports Association
I'm only interested in experience though. I'll run a few races this season. Won't be a bother every week. Probably, if anything, just Daytona, Michigan, Martinsville, Talladega, and Darlington, the tracks I have run lots of laps on the last couple months in the truck mod.
Also, as a suggestion for that TBA weekend, Trucks at the Glen handle pretty well.

GOMA's first race is going to have qualifying in 25 minutes, so if you want to run, get over to ISRA TeamSpeak and we'll help you set up!

Sorry I couldn't make it last night, had to go pack. I'll still be gone next friday, so I'll have to miss again. I'll probably make it for race three.

Been battling some kind of illness for a couple weeks. Could not have gotten on, even if I was welcome.

So even if you suck in NR2003, you'll still be ok? Considering racing

Come on boys, someone's gotta be able to beat this hunk of wood. Hell, I'll run Martinsville and beat him if I have to.

First, what on earth does that mean? Second, I can definitely get up there and compete with everyone, especially at a track like Martinsville, where I've logged a ton of laps in the truck mod.

I wanted to race so bad Friday, but I was at my cousin's house for a few days. Did I get LPP for the first two races?

Yeah, the only thing better would be if the guy who was banned from ISRA and the guy who might be banned from here for shooting his mouth off stopped posting in this thread.

Few updates (because I'm precocious and petulant):
Batista won Portland, Tally, and Atlanta.
Cliff won Concord.
Mantup won Nashville.
The tree won Milwaukee.
We hit the track this Friday night at 8:07 for the Rock of Lime 150k at Lime Rock Mt.

Unless I missed something in the last 3 days, we hit the track for GOMA at roughly 9pm, with qualifying at 9:25pm, and the race at 9:30pm.PRAWBLEMS wrote:Few updates (because I'm precocious and petulant):

This week it's Darlington. There's only 4 races left in the season.
Re: Global Online Motorsports Association
The first season of GOMA has concluded, with Joe Branch as the inaugural champion. Branch won 7 races, scored 12 top 5's, and earned a top 10 in ALL 17 races.

I believe from what I've heard, we are switching from Trucks to a Busch Series, with the PWF GNS mod.
