NASCAR to Hold Testing at Newly Paved Tracks
"NASCAR said there will be open tests at Michigan International Speedway, Pocono Raceway and Kansas Speedway, all of which are being repaved this year. The sessions will occur a few weeks before the event or on the Thursday before the race.(USA Today)(1-28-2012)"

Personally, I think it's a good idea so that the drivers can get used to the new surfaces.

I'm interested to see how the new pavement affects Michigan. We saw what the seems did to California a few years ago. Although, MIS has not had that same kind of problem so hopefully nothing will happen.

I'm most intrested with how Pocono will turn out. If it doesn't make the racing better than you can kiss its 2nd race, goodbye.
