First attempt at making a logo

So this is the first time I've gone about designing a logo. It's for a fictional sponsor I created called Visage, an electronics company comparible to Sony or Panasonic. It's just a simple design but I think it came out cool. But what I'm proud of is that I actually thought this out in my head and was able to translate that EXACTLY to Photoshop. The past month or so, I've just gone and fiddled about and it's taught me so much.

Although really basic, I think it's pretty cool and is exactly what I had in mind when I came up with the sponsor. Comments? I tend to like the red a bit better than the white

For your first logo it's not bad. I seem to have something to where I have to add outlines to everything XD
