My First Attempt At Painting

So, I decided to finally try my hand at painting today. I know it's not as good as some of the cars usually posted around here, but I think it was a noble first attempt. I guess I'll call this an alternate scheme for Willard Stanton, since it's an Dash Cup STS and has his name and number.

That's actually pretty good. The only thing for me is how the base moves over the watch on the hood. It just doesn't look quite right. Other than that, that's a really good start.

Pfffffft. My bad. What I meant was how on the hood, the gold went up and over the crown of the Rolex logo. It just doesn't look quite right. But it might be just me. Again, my bad.

Ah, okay, I see what you mean. Yeah, I do understand how that might not look right, probably because of the straight lines meeting at sharp angles. Thanks for the feedback.

The logos are just too pixilated and need to be cleaned up some. It's the little details that go a long way.

still seems better than my ARLA car, which looks plain. XD
