RaceTimeLIVE: The complex in Brooklyn, New York that housed Tom Delgado Racing and the Tom Delgado Racing School is set to be torn down in a few days. The land, which was willed to Tom Delgado's longtime friend Kyle Gaffigan, was sold to a real estate group that plans to turn the land into low-cost housing units.

KyleGaffigan: I knew this day would come. The money Tom left me to maintain the shop was going to run out at some point, I just didn't think it'd be this soon. All the history we've made here is set to just disappear. I'm sad for everyone who ever signed a contract to work for us, and I'm even sadder for the fans who still remember our victories on the track.

KyleGaffigan: In the end, I had no choice but to sell. I had no leverage to demand that the new owners keep the complex open as an attraction. Fought'em as long as I could, but I couldn't afford to sink anymore of my own money into this place, especially since we weren't bringing anything in.

KyleGaffigan: Crews are here to take things I've been asked to keep to a storage unit. I've made sure that Tom's family will have access to the unit anytime they wish. I hope he isn't too disappointed that I couldn't keep TDR alive. At the same time, I'm relieved that I can return home to Arizona and go back to living a normal life.

@gouldnight: Good weekend today. Started 3rd in the first race and finished there. Second race was a little of a disaster after someone thought I was their braking point in turn 2 but recovered to finish in the points to keep 3rd place in the standings. Looking forward to next week with @EBlackburn
