Especially given that Del Rio never divorced his wife, and he is a father of two.

There's three possible things happening in this case:

There have been rumours of Triple H feeling protective towards her, and given other about Del Rio leading her to use drugs, it wouldn't be really surprising.

Then again, look at it from the WWE's point of view. Paige is a good prospect, and want to make good on that investment by trying to steer her away from a bad influence that could derail her career.

If it's the case that if Del Rio is bad news, and she chose that over the potential to continue making a name for herself, well then, more power to her, but if she ever wants to come back, she's going to realize the WWE is going to make her eat a big shit sandwich... and considering she's a female wrestler, with plenty of talent in that department on the way up from NXT to WWE, well that's a major loss for her.

I've heard though the prescription Del Rio was popped for many take a dim view to in the first place.

Of course, it doesn't look good that the WWE has been popping people for stuff they say that they have prescriptions for, but at the same time, what's to say that there may be people who just haven't dotted their i's, and crossed their t's, assuming that, since they have a prescription, they are in the good, when they gotta go through all the channels in the WWE to make sure they are in the good.
