I was watching the race this morning before I went off to Silverstone. I don't watch many MotoGP races so I'm not to familiar with the rules but from what I could tell Marquez got screwed over in a big way.

I was watching the race this morning before I went off to Silverstone. I don't watch many MotoGP races so I'm not to familiar with the rules but from what I could tell Marquez got screwed over in a big way.

Basically DORNA pulled a 2005 US GP, the Bridgestone rubber was not lasting a large distance so they asked for riders to switch bikes so that they could drive on fresh rubber. I'm not sure what happened with Honda but they miscounted 10 laps (the maximum riders were allowed on one set of rubber) for Marquez and he stopped on Lap 11. Completely ridiculous.

We had three tornadoes touchdown in Ohio last night.

One of them touched down a less than a half-mile from my house.

Dang, that's scary! I hope everyone's okay. There were some tornadoes this May that weren't all that close to my house, but close enough for the house of one of my classmates to get destroyed by it. Thankfully everyone was alright.

I found it ironic that on the one night I decide to go to bed earlier than 11 pm, all of this happens. I noticed before that the wind had picked up a bit but I didn't think it would've gotten that bad. Someone told me that tornado sirens were going off last night for 10-15 minutes with the wind getting so bad...and to think I slept through all of that. o_O

I can think of many people from the US this applies to. I remember on one of the first days in 9th grade US History we had the simple quiz of filling in the 50 states and their capitals. Most people failed or nearly did.

Sadly enough, that is true. There's so many stories I have of classmates I had in my high school that were so bad at geography that one couldn't even remember what country was north of the U.S., another asked if Europe part of North America, and another asked if Tennessee was a city or a state. Yeah. Just let that one sink in.
