2012 ARLA Elite Series Schedule

2012 Schedule

Notes:

-21 races
-The season opener moves to a different track.
-Dwyer has been dropped in favor of a 500-lap race at IRP.
-ARCA logic: Daytona and Talladega back-to-back.
-2 dirt tracks.
-2 races in Canada.
-3 races in Japan, with a gap of about a month going into and coming out of those races. Most part-time teams are not expected to enter any of the Japanese races; local entries are expected to run instead.
-Most races have 8 slots for one-off teams.
-Part-time teams may run up to 5 races. IRP and Rockford will not count towards those 5 races.

No 120 laps of Dwyer, wow.

Probably wasn't feasible with the new body styles.

Dwyer is kind of a pain to review. I figured moving the endurance race to IRP would make it more manageable.

Talladega? Well, that should be...fun.

Wait...Japan? I thought they couldn't go international anymore due to cost issues?

If my Cup schedule will allow it, I'll definitely be at the Ohio event.

Nice, I love IRP. I like this schedule.

The race at Arnold-St. Louis has been relocated to Iowa after disagreements between track promoters and ARLA executives.

The eight one-off team rule doesn't surprise. A lot of one-off teams bump out championship contending team at Dwyer this year. Figured you'd probably be cutting back.

Works for me, Iowa is a great racetrack

How come I only get 2 of the 5 part time spots I applied for

If I didn't get in to the other 3 can I have Mosport, Buffalo Downs and Memphis instead.

I meant races

I think the Daytona/Talladega back-to-back early in the season is really going to shake up the points. Especially for those who find themselves in a hole after those two races.

I updated the schedule with an event that I had been planning for quite some time...

How is the After apocalypse special going to work?

oh and my team isn't running Texas, Daytona took over for that.
