A few paints

I said in my introduction thread that I'd post a couple of examples of cars I've painted, so...yeah. Here goes:


I did two versions of this car, one for the "Kola" flavor (this one), and one for the "White Birch" which came out too light in the render.
TFSRA is an offline league I run for anyone wondering what that logo is.

Two more, both of which I made the bases for:


The main sponsor for the 23 car is the MS International Federation.
The Venom car may be my favorite so far.

THAT 23 IS SEXY.

The other two are awesome, also, but I LOVE the 23!

I must concur with Ben, that 23 is most definitely SMOKIN'. Great work on all of these, man. Always good to have another painter around the boards.

I actually don't like the 23 car much. White car + White numbers = ...yeah, not good.

I do like the 00 car, though.

The background behind the numbers on the 23 is actually more of a silver fading into white, but the render is pretty bright. I tried it with the same shade of blue as the front but it didn't look right to me. I do normally avoid white on white

I think my favorites are the #23 and #25.

All three look great, but the #25 is my favorite. Nice work.

I do want an opinion on the next car...I have two different number placements for it, I'm just not sure which to go with.

Also, it's too light to tell but the white areas have a golf ball texture as an overlay...oh Ten0r's and your lighting...

It appears that the flats go on Dodge Mesh as well.

According to Ten0r's, those are the Dodge meshes

The top ones where you have the three cars in them... that's on a pontiac mesh, the nose is pointed, but the back windows (side windows) are rounded.

The one on the bottom (single car) it appears the mesh may be correct.

So...idk, maybe they have a screwup, because I have a few three car scenes that are (allegedly) on each mesh, and they all appear to be pontiacs

Yeah... ever car scene, no matter if you select which mesh will be stuck with pontiac on the three car.
