2006 MotoGP Champion Nicky Hayden is reported to have suffered a bad brain injury after colliding with a car while out on his bicycle in Italy. His condition is currently extremely critical.

Really sad to here about Hayden, his run from AMA to MotoGP is one of the best runs of a title i've seen in racing. Arguably helped grow MotoGP in the states as i remember a lot of hype here in America going into that 2006 title fight.
