For me, Michigan. Hardly ever not boring, and yet, it gets 2 races. The reason I chose it and not Auto Club is that at least Auto Club has the decency to only be 1 race, and that a lot of you guys seem to like it.
I'd replace one race with Road America, other either goes to Mid-Ohio or becomes second race at Darlington or Atlanta.

Until they change the package, honestly, take a race from Daytona and Talladega.
The 500 should stay because of the sports history, but dump the others.

This too.

Texas Motor Speedway in a heartbeat. One race for Circuit of the Americas and another for either Road America or Mid-Ohio.

Texas. The only track to have 6 point races on the schedule, yet doesn't deserve a single one.

Texas for sure, Dover a close second.

Maybe we should ask, "which two tracks would you remove" instead; my first choice is also Texas Motor Speedway. My first pick for a replacement track would be a return of Rockingham Speedway (I know that's not realistic; I'm just being idealistic).
My second option would probably be Kansas Speedway. With the right cars it could probably produce decent racing, but its reconfiguration in 2013 made the track completely generic. The old layout actually produced a good number of close races (usually between only two cars, but close nonetheless). I'd replace it with Gateway Motorsports Park, which isn't that far away, has a unique layout, and has produced some very competitive races in the development series.
Honestly, my third option would probably be Sonoma Raceway. As far as road courses go, there are a number of others in the U.S., alone, that could produce more competitive stock car racing. Considering its location, I think that Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca would be a great replacement.
If I had to give an existing Cup track a second date, then it would be Atlanta Motor Speedway.
Sorry for ignoring the title. I couldn't pick just one each!

Texas. Get rid of the chase race and replace it with a road course, whether it be COTA or something else.

Chase race has always been interesting but that's probably because MUH CHAYSE IMPLACATIONS. Change the Spring race, and change Dover's Chase date to a road course.navycook75 wrote:Texas. Get rid of the chase race and replace it with a road course, whether it be COTA or something else.

I'd rather just go for full on renovations of tracks to make them unique rather than 1.5 mile cookie cutters.
Then why the hell is Talladega in the Chase. One screw up, and the whole chase can be turned on its head, like Kevin Harvick proved.

Charlotte- I personally find this track even worse than Texas. I can recall one decent Texas race (It was a fall race a few years back). I can not recall a SINGLE interesting race a Charlotte with the exception of the time that the camera fell on the track.

On the other hand, though, Charlotte is much more significant to the series, as well as being the template the cookies were cut from.

Indianapolis. NASCAR hasn't really put on a good show there for years, and they don't really belong there, while IndyCar continue to put on a good show consistently.

Rather than get rid of an entire track, I'd remove one race from Texas and one from Kansas. In their place: Memphis and a road course (maybe Laguna Seca or Road Atlanta).
