Some Danny Phantom Ideas...

Back in January I got some inspiration to do some DP art. In the end, it helped me with custom ideas immensely (can't say I ever favored them before I started these). All of which drawn in Paint.NET

These are awesome. Love it that someone other than me remembers one of the greatest Nick shows ever.

@ Rykia_RKXK: Thanks. I agree DP was one of the greatest things Nick did (post 2000 that is).

@ Chives2112: It would be odd if you didn't lol

@ day500champ1: Kinda...but a lot of the DP women look the same in terms of designs (Jazz's head shape resembles Freakshow's much more...odd).

I did a bunch of other DP based car designs, so I'll put them up here tomorrow. Now...who is my avatar based on?

And to all "phans" out there, one of my friends wanted me to start a flash series based on DP. Shooting starts in spring. Episode 1, Remember: The Ember McLain Story (a multipart movie-like story about Ember McLain's life before she died). So be on the lookout for that, I will post links here to the videos.

I too was a big fan of this show when it aired. Though the unfortunate part was that I never got to see the majority of the Season 3 episodes except for the finale.

I think I remember someone doing a DP nr2k3 car on a youtube vid a few years ago. Looked good.

That outlaw car looks good (I can only imagine the epicness if it had been completed).

In all honesty I stopped watching in the beginning of Season 2 (high school was picking up and I cut out tv in general). I took some time over my Xmas break last year to watch the series and thought, "you know what...this is a lot better then I remember." My only complaint was the finale, Phantom Planet just sucked in general.

I'm not really a fan of nose grills being replaced by logos, if you know what I am saying, but it looks nice!

Thanks gw. Yeah I know what you mean. I wanted the car to look more band based then NASCAR based. I would've done custom headlights but it was a contest entry that was due in a few hours (won it btw).

Thanks snake. The car took about...3 hours to make. Overall my friend said it came out great and I liked it.

Yeah Nicktoons has a marathon on Friday nights (or Saturday morning, depending on how you look at it) usually at around 3am.

In all honesty, I stopped watching the show near the end of season 1 (back in like 2004). Felt bored last Xmas day, I was so sick and was shut off from everyone so I started rewatching it and realized it wasn't half bad. It was actually a lot better then whatever is keeping Nick on the air now. Didnt care for Season 3 and the finale though (too many new characters and just bizarre plot wrap ups).

Needed to make a team (dirt55 league) and decided to sign on Johnny "13" Callon (#113) and Ember McLain (#14).



The cars and characters were essentially done in 1 night (the cars in 30 minutes total, the characters took 2 hours...all in all worth it).

Man, I love it! That's awesome!

This one has gotten a lot of "she's so cute" comments on DeviantArt. I give her a darker look, and she's still cute...I'm gonna mark that up as a win.

This was also the first thing I made in Paint Shop Pro X2. Not fully converting to that program for everything, it's just...Paint.NET sucks when it comes to curves (you draw a line and are given 4 nodes to manipulate...it's never perfect). PSP u can draw a line and make it a perfect circle. Plus some other guy on DeviantArt (I'm omitting his name for reasons that would become obvious...it's not him, it's his art genre) has been using PSP X2 for years (believe he has done 500+ pics and started in 2005). Found a WIP pic of his and learned virtually everything I needed from 1 single screenshot (no movie, no instructions, no questions).

If anyone wants something personal made, send me a PM. I've been getting wallpaper requests lately from random people so I figured I'd give you all the same option.

Finally...something new. Nearly half a year since I've last done a complete DP sketch from the ground up.



All done in Illustrator, which looks much better than PSP or PDN I admit.

@snake: tried the DP idea from before...need some more experimenting with Illustrator and Danny (the PSP version I did before really started looking bad soon after starting).
