First the Ward lawsuit situation, then Buddy Baker passes away, Auto Club Speedway won't be on the IndyCar schedule next year, and now this.

I wish we could see some good news soon, because auto racing as a whole has been stuck in a massive rut for a while now.

I had actually thought about going up to Williams Grove tonight (have vouchers from there).  Good thing I decided to play hockey tonight.  Definitely a very bad rut racing is in right now.

2nd year in a row there has been a Sprintcar death at a different track during Knoxville Nationals week.

Not to mention Kevin Swindell was involved in a pretty bad accident at the Knoxville Nationals itself and had to be airlifted.
