Re: Race 14 (Digitickets Darlington Double)
- Spoiler:
- 1:18 That was a dumb move. Three wide at Darlington...
1:43 So much for Rene coming back.
2:16 Hee hee.. I still can't get enough of Ricky's paint scheme.
2:39 Oh great, Hawk is pulling another scheme.
4:52 Why is everybody going three wide in the turns??
6:39 Yeah Drew!!
7:22 Geez, Patriot Racing looks really bad this year...
9:22 Woah!! I have a feeling we won't be seeing this track on the circuit next year... Laura just pulled the stock car racing equivalent to a helmet to helmet contact in football.
12:07 Really.. The TV stuff again..?
16:01 I'm sure we know what Mike's going to do to his season.
16:55 Yeah. Seriously it's getting old.
19:07 Looks like Eichholtz was no fluke.

Re: Race 14 (Digitickets Darlington Double)
- Spoiler:
- Patriot Racing are chewed up and spit out by Darlington.
Barry Spengler and Kelly Splison probably had their worst race in ARLA contention with both being thrown out through either Mechanical problems or getting wrecked by other drivers' stupidity, the duo, who are not having the best season, were hoping to reach some type of good run during the first round. As usual, lady luck decided to be somewhere else for the team.

- Spoiler:
- Savage Collects Second Consecutive Top-10
After an impressive 3rd-place finish at Watkins Glen, Wesley Savage has again shown some strength with a 7th-place effort at Darlington.
"I just stayed out of trouble and sneaked away with a top-10. I knew our team was capable of performing like this and we're looking to continue this streak of good form."
By the way what happened to Nico Petrov...? The results page says that he crashed out, but I didn't see that in the video.
Re: Race 14 (Digitickets Darlington Double)
"This year is been a terrible year for me, and with three more races left, I have a feeling something good is going to happen, beacause from the looks of it, I think my time at Groves Racing is becoming very limited."

- Rene Recarmier falters yet again...
...but it was not his fault this time. His engine somehow managed to blow up within a few laps of Race 1.
"I no understand this sometime.",Recarmier said in an interview."I was up in top 10,running good and all of sudden my engine went kaploeey. This is punishing sport, this."
The incident mwans that Rene Recarmier falls to 4th in standings,62 points back of championship leader Kevin Monroe
Phil Summers injured in crash, will stay out of racing until Rockford
Phil Summers was involved in a major incident after taking 6th at Watkins Glen last week.He was forced three wide, scraped the outside wall and lost a lot of speed. From there,Ricky Navarro ran into the back of the 91,turning him hard into the inside wall. The impact dislocated his left shoulder, forcing him out for two races and possibly Rockford as well.Summers declined to comment on the incident.

Re: Race 14 (Digitickets Darlington Double)
- Spoiler:
- Sweet 16th for Harrison, 2012 Update
After avoiding the lap 2 crash on the frontstraight, Amy Harrison managed to bring the 102 back in one piece, finishing 16th. "The car was just average today, so I wouldn't have expected a much better finish than what we got."
When Amy was asked about Motor Assault Racing team owner Lisa Marley's comments regarding wanting to keep Harrison in the 102 next season, Amy stated the following, "I understand Lisa is a hard-working woman in making this race team last as long as it has considering what little sponsorship we have, but sure this team hasn't been doing what it did last year, and I feel like this is the only shot at racing that I have right now. After a stellar season that we had last year, compared to this year I feel like my brother Joey, and that's not a good thing. I'm still thinking about whether to re-sign or not."
For those who don't remember, Joey Harrison drove the 100 in the 2010 season, and voluntarily stepped out of the 100 due to his poor performances and constant DNQ's, and it appears Amy might do the same.

Re: Race 14 (Digitickets Darlington Double)
Shane Lake climbed out of the #82D and had this to say. "Well this was a bad fast racecar...when the tires were fresh. I dont know what the guys back at the tire shop were thinking but these things fell off way way WAY to fast. But hey I'll take 10th."
(OOC - guessing Darlington was run a while ago so my injury should have happened after Darlington - yes injured again....and this is based off my REAL injuries from mid week.)
