Thirty of the 32 entered FARC Master Spark Modified Series teams made their way to the 3/8-mile Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Florida for a pair of preseason testing sessions in preparation for the season opener at USA International Speedway. The other two cars, the 38 and 88 of the Nutmeg State Racers team, are scheduled to make their first appearance of the season at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.

The two-day test session was broken down into four one-hour practice sessions, two sessions per day.

TIMES, SESSION 2:

Jamie Flock was the class of Day 1, as he posted fast time in both sessions. The SweeneySport cars of Alex Carson and Lucas Sweeney were their usual fast selves, as both drivers served notice they will be forces to be reckoned with once the season gets underway. Patrick Carpino, Michael White, and Frank Zarrow were also midseason form. Newcomer Nazrin Mahmud was near the bottom of the time charts in both sessions, but this could be attributed to getting acclimated to the car and not a general lack of pace. The same can't be said for David Bloom, who unsurprisingly was slow as molasses in both sessions, turning laps 1.2 seconds slower than the leaders.

TIMES, SESSION 2:

As Flock was the class of the field on Day 1, Lucas Sweeney was on Day 2. Sweeney's best times were on par with Flock's from Day 1, though slightly slower. Former CRL Modified driver Rallen Hayden broke into the Top 10 on the sheet in Session 1, as his 13.733 was his fastest time of the weekend. Second-year driver McKayla Douglas cracked into the Top 10 in Session  1 as well, but other than that she seemed content to hang around in the middle of the pack time-wise. The cars at the back continued to be their usual slow selves.
