Elliott Sisters livid with Modifieds field

"We lost our fucking time racing here!" - said Charlotte Elliott by the radio after she got wrecked by the lapped car of Ray Lawler. "Fucking idiot doesn't backs off, I'm in 2nd, goddammit!!!"

The Elliott sisters were the fastest that they have ever been since Watkins Glen, as both were able to run in the top 5 consistently during the entire race, gathering support even from Todd Benatar.

However, both were involved in incidents that weren't of their own doing, and got wrecked by two lapped cars, Jeff Wilkens and Ray Lawler, that finished second in the championship, but was terribly slow since the start of the race.

"We freaking worked our asses off to two idiots taking us out, it's not our fault that we're faster than them, it's their fault by being too damn slow!" - said Ashley in a interview after the race.

"I can't say we didn't tried, but getting wrecked left and right just takes our motivation, we're more keen to going elsewhere than staying on FARC at this point, or we go somewhere where those douches that are former champions (refers to Michael White, that wrecked Ashley Elliott at Watkins Glen, triggering a giant pileup) can't race with us, it's just embarrasing to see a series like FARC to not impede those tards from racing!" - said after the race, a much calmer Charlotte, taht still finished 7th due to the car count running at finish.

If both drivers had ended in the top 3, everyone would get two free posters.

Altough is not known if they'll return to the modifieds, if they do they're certainly using the numbers 1 and 2, for Ashley and Charlotte respectively, the team will also drop the Macena name and run under its original name of Elliott Racing.

Giuseppe Fochesato: Runner-up @ Dover, 4th in the Championship

Giuseppe Fochesato, the Italian racer and team owner from Michigan, had a strong race in the Dover Showdown on Saturday, the season finale for the 2014 FARC Modifieds Presented by Calvert Ignitions season.

Fochesato has only been racing for less than ten years despite being 53 years-old. Having raced modifieds since 2010, the founder and co-owner of Focus Autosports joined the FARC Modifieds in the series' Crown class as a driver this year after winning the Berlin Raceway track championship in class in 2013.

Despite racing out of personal enjoyment and having little concern of results - according to Fochesato, himself - he has had a lot of success in his short FARC Modifieds tenure, including scoring Focus Autosports' first ever FARC victory, which came at the Boston Motor Speedway in September.

Fochesato capped off his season with a 2nd-place finish at the Dover International Speedway. After starting from the 6th position, the #22 car had run in the top 3 throughout the entire race, and led several laps, as well. He would eventually finish second to Justin Parker and Parker's Michael White Racing #00 car. The final points standings show Fochesato finishing in 4th-place, only 22 points behind series champion Alex Carson. Had Fochesato beat Parker for the win, he would have finished in 2nd, and would have lost the title by a mere two points.

"It's been a great year", said Fochesato after the race. "I've been fast, I've been competitive, and I've had one heck of a time out on the track. I never expected to be this close to the championship, but only one guy can win it, and I gave it my best shot. I'm happy that I got to race here in the FARC Modifieds this year, and I hope I'll get to return in the future."

Focus Autosports and Fochesato will not be returning to the FARC Modifieds next season, although it is uncertain whether or not they will return in the more distant future.
