(I'm gonna be honest, they ain't gonna win) Blaney makes his 1st start with the 22, Brennan Poole makes his debut in the 42. So we may have a regular winning this race! Guys like Dillon, Buescher, Elliott, Smith, Bubba. Also the points will shake up the top 10 in points is incredible .

Last year, Kes dominated but isn't running the car, and 2013 had regular Sam Hornish Jr winning.

Will we see a first time winner? Will a Cup driver actually be close to the front? Who will take away the points lead in this really nice top 10?

15 cars have been put on a 15 minute penalty for being late for inspection last week. cutting their practice time... Never seen this in my life O_o

Cars have to serve 15 minutes by parking in the 1st couple of pit stalls and stay there. A lot of heavy hitter in there. Denny, Junior, Bubba, Sadler, Conley, Koch, Jones, and more.


And Suarez is sick, Kenseth is replacing him for practice today.

And even more weird, Kwasneski's funding died, as Adam Alexander said Poole is sharing the car with Larson. Nothing mentioned about Dylan.

EDIT 3 : Cars still going through tech... Think some teams are having trouble O_o

Austin Dillon wins the pole with a incredible lap of 29.295, .2 faster than his first lap, and .25 more than second place Brian Scott, Jones is 3rd, Blaney 4th and Gaughn 5th.

well they had an incident in practice and the car was hastily patched up so not really surprised :/

ALSO HOLY JUMPING THAT FINISH WAS GOOD!

Pretty boring race other than a good finish.

The safer barrier complaining needs to stop, I understand it's to protect the drivers but in Atlanta and Las Vegas's case they only got less than 2 weeks to put that stuff into action and you can't really do anything with that short amount of time. The "SHOULDA BEEN IN SINCE DAY 1" argument doesn't really work when a renewed pushed only started 2 weeks ago.
