Only thing to say about the NW race is Brad Keselowski absolutely decimated the field.

Unfortunately, unless he has an issue, Ricky Stenhouse will be the champion.

Re: Kansas Race Weekend October 8-9, 2011
Here's how I sum up the weekend.
1: Bathurst 1000
2: F1 Japanese Grand Prix
3-98: Every other race that might have happened this weekend
Tied for last: NASCAR Cup race at Kansas and NASCAR Nationwide race at Kansas
Why the hell did Kansas get a second race in the first place?

Fixed.
What a great race... to not be home for. Lucky me, I was at Pocono.

Re: Kansas Race Weekend October 8-9, 2011
You know, the classic NASCAR fan in me wants JJ to keep winning championships because maybe, just maybe, it will show Big Brian that the Chase is flawed beyond all belief.
The #48 has won five of these, and there's two reasons for that; 1.) The tracks in the Chase fit JJ's driving style and Knaus's setups perfectly, and 2.) Nobody else wants to step up and BEAT the #48 (case in point: Tony Stewart almost mowing down his pit crew, etc.)
So, here's to the #48 and getting number ten. Hopefully the higher-ups realize how bad the Chase is when they start making "ten-time" memorabilia.
