Re: (Truck Tour Race 10) Chicago
- Spoiler:
- Desert Star Motorsports, Carlisle back in form with 2nd win in a row
They come in twos. If only championships did as well.
At the expense of Luc Pellerin and Focus Autosports for the second week in a row, Bradley Carlisle and the #7 team pick up a win, this time a lap car coming to the rescue of polesitter Carlisle.
"I do feel sorry for Luc, but with the amount of crap we went through at the start of the season, we've earned these two wins!" said Carlisle, "We're looking like a championship team again. If we did all the races again, I think we could have locked this up, but it is how it is, and we're in victory lane again!"

Re: (Truck Tour Race 10) Chicago
- Spoiler:
- Pellerin upset at Chavez, shouting at him after race.
Pellerin had the lead with less than 5 laps left in the Truck Race here in Chicago, until Jesus Igancio Chavez III was a ungrateful backmarker, and handed the lead to Bradley Carlisle, which he held on to, Pellerin finished 3rd. Luc showed his displeasure with the 35 truck by almost turning him into the pit wall. After the race, Luc stopped in Chavez's pit box, and was heard screaming after Jesus, even saying "Come here you Mexican piece of shit". Luc then left in a fit of rage into his team hauler. Luc could face a penalty or fine for his line to Chavez.

- Spoiler:
- Vincenzo Fochesato: "[Pellerin Should be Proud]"
The FARC LoBo Truck Tour team Focus Autosports had a successful day at the Chicago Motor Speedway. The organization's two trucks have performed at singularly different levels throughout 2014, but today their drivers Luc Pellerin and Vincenzo Fochesato managed to finish a race in the top 10 together for the first time since Lake Afton.
Pellerin finished the Erraticab 80 in the 3rd position, while Fochesato finished in 7th. The 3rd-place result for Pellerin, however, is more bittersweet when looking back on the race.
From the drop of the green flag, five trucks, including the #4, appeared to have enough speed to contend for the victory. By the time the final restart occurred with 14 laps to go, Pellerin, Bradley Carlisle, and Isabella Macena were the only three of the race's five dominant trucks remaining in contention. Pellerin opened up a sizable lead and appeared to have had the race won until he came across the lapped truck of Jesus Ignacio Chavez III with three laps to go. Failing to navigate around Chavez, Pellerin lost the lead one lap later, being forced to hand the win to Bradley Carlisle for the second race in a row.
Pellerin made clear his displeasure to the Autosport Fernado's Chicken driver, nearly wrecking the #35 truck on lap 79 and stopping in its pit box after the checkered flag, reportedly shouting racial slurs towards Chavez.
"It's really upsetting" said Vincenzo Fochesato after the race. "Luc's been one of the fastest drivers in the whole series this year and he just hasn't had enough luck to win yet. It's frustrating as a driver to come close so often and not win when you should, and it probably just got to him this time. He's a very respectful person and I'm sure that what he said in the pits was only built-up anger getting the better of him."
Pellerin's result was his fourth podium of the season, despite the fact that he has only started seven of the ten completed races. Fochesato's result was his fourth top 10 and second-to-best finish of the year, having only finished better at Texas World, where he came home in 4th-place.
"Luc should be really proud, though. He was the driver to beat again, and he's really helped this team out so much more than we were hoping that he could. If I don't find victory lane in the next two races, then I hope that he will. We know that he's certainly capable of doing it."
