Is it time?
In a disastrous soap opera of things at Fortner Motorsports, which finally was resolved with the removal of Billy Fortner's abysmal staff at the top management department as Chad Bolder was named Fortner's interim owner along with his key staff (OOC, the article about the change of management can be found in my BJFZ thread in Fan Punditry), the questions come like fire. Most prominantly, is this a good time for the Fortner brothers, James and Tyler along with Canadian Larry Hunter to return to VSCC racing?
Earlier in the season, Fortner closed down their VSCC program following Brands Hatch. When the team closed, James and Tyler Fortner were left without a ride and they turned back to their stomping grounds of American Indy Pro Series open-wheel racing while Larry Hunter returned to the World Sports Car Tour. When the word was spread that Fortner Motorsports revised its roster of managers and directors, the three Fortner drivers were left to wonder if it was the right time to come back to VSCC racing and give it another go.
But since the Fortners and Hunter missed so many races after Brands Hatch, they may have to go VART and run some races there before being promoted back to the VSCC, unless otherwise noted. Thus, the next question came. Will the Fortners and Hunter band back together with Fortner Motorsports, or will they look for other prospects? If other prospects, where will they go and what opportunities are there for the Fortner brothers and Larry Hunter to seek? The verdict will predict what's in store for the Fortner brothers and Larry Hunter.

But you completely pulled out of all VSCC leagues. I don't know if he'll let you back in. This isn't a hotel.

Uh, I don't decide if they want back in. That's Woody's decision. If he doesn't want them, then okay. I'll wait until the season's done. But, again, Casey, I'm not making the decision to let them back in. The emphasis of the title is not "Hey let us back in, now!" No. The title is simply "Is it time?" If no, then they'll wait until 2012.
