I think it might work on a shorter track with less banking, but it definately wouldnt work at a superspeedway.

I don't care if it's rain, Aric Almirola finally wins!

First time the #43 has won since 1999, and first win at Daytona since 1984.

Hell Yeah Aric Almirola!!! Finally I've been waiting for him to break through.

Like Almirola since 2011, should've won Kansas where he dominated but tires were crap...

About damn time they called the race.

Good racing, but all the things that happened today just made this a hilarious race, and as a result there was the quirkiest top ten I've ever seen.

This is a long deserved win for Aric Almirola and the #43 team, but perhaps not the way he wanted to win it. All the different circumstances he's won by today make this a special win for that team, and this race will no doubt go down in history. Or you could also think of it this way: An Earnhardt won the 500 this year, and today a #43 car wins.

Rain gave us hell this weekend and won in the end...But despite a hell of a race from start to finish despite a 2 pretty sizable wrecks.

I agree, I wanted it to stop raining just to see if we would have 2002 Aarons 499 levels of racing.

If the rain had stopped and the race restarted, I honestly think that Danica would have a legit chance of winning this race.
