Qualifying just ended for ARCA. Grant Enfinger had the fastest lap, but everyone still has no go through post qualifying inspection, and I would be surprised if everyone passed, since I don't think that that has happened at an ARCA restrictor-plate race in a few years.

Re: International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250
As of now, there aren't any drivers that have failed post-qualifying inspection. Though, the only driver I know that will be starting in the back is Thomas Praytor, who qualified 27th out of 37 cars, had clutch issues during qualifying and had it repaired during the session. Here's the rest of the line-up:

Re: International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250
Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but ARCA's website is fail or glitched or they did this purposely the race on my end says it starts at 3:00 UTC till 5:00 UTC (Basically 11 AM -1 PM EDT). Other races have are listed under CDT.
http://www.arcaracing.com/schedule
Another part of the site says the race begins at 10 am. Hey ARCA, not only do your drivers fail but so does your website!
Outdated since January 9th

Talladega is Central Time, so it is going to 10 am there when the coverage starts, 11 am ET.

Right I get that. But you would expect a website to have consistency, not have 3 different times for 1 race.

25 laps to go and no cautions. Let that sink it for a little bit.

For ARCA on a Superspeedway, that's quite a surprise to me.

Well, it went longer than I thought it would.
Re: International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250
That has got to be one of the cleanest ARCA races I have ever seen

I hate to sound dumb it I am here, but even though it's ARCA, that race was honestly quite boring imo.

Scott Sheldon finishes 13th, proving Cy's (At least I think it was Cy's) theory that anyone can drive Dega.
- Spoiler:
- Sheldon from what I understand is an executive with Allegiant Air and has never run a professional race before in his life.

We need more races like this, why? There weren't any start and parks.

Re: International Motorsports Hall of Fame 250
Am I the only one who's noticed that there are still access gates on Talladega's backstretch? I can't recall anyone hitting them in the recent past, but are those the same type of gates that easily crush when hit by a car?
Perhaps they're stronger than they look, but I'm wondering if they're fine, or if they really shouldn't be there.

Those are the same type that Mike Harmon and Mikey hit on Bristol right?

Boat hit the wall further up, in the middle of the backstretch.

I previously thought so too, but the gates are still there. The video below from the race is the best one that I could find to show the gates that they pass by at the end of the backstretch, about 10 seconds into the video.Mother of Invention wrote:SpeedDemon37 wrote:
