Commentary Test Video
I've been considering helping to produce some race highlight videos around here sometime, and am attempting to see if I am competent enough to do so. I quickly made a review of a short NR2003 race using the Papyrus fictionals.
As I am inexperienced with video editing (and computers, in general), it's not very high-quality compared to most of what is produced by other members of EFR, but I suppose it's an okay start.
Some issues that I am aware of:
- I am incapable of correctly pronouncing names.
- I occasionally pause/stutter or sound awkward in general. I think I will get better at not doing that.
- The video focuses on the leaders too much.
- I would talk about the drivers, themselves, if they were canon characters (or my own), but obviously they are not.

Other than the quality I'd say you're one of the better commentary voices I've heard as far as nr2003 goes, with a good mic you'd be solid.

Alright, and thanks! I'll see what I can do about improving the sound quality next time.

Re: Commentary Test Video
I made another commentary test video back in June, but it was partially out of boredom in addition to actual testing. I experienced a problem with it that I didn't bother to try to discover how to fix until yesterday, so it has now been uploaded.
I believe that this one is better than the first, although they are not very different from each other.
Again, this one was made mostly out of boredom, but constructive criticism is always appreciated if you have any!

Re: Commentary Test Video
Is better than my commentaries for APRS, well (at least I from what I think about my videos). I would recommend making the caution signs in bold letters, making it easier to view.

From what I've seen from these videos, you fit in perfectly with the rest of us. Hell, you're better than me already.
