Delgado's ASCC Debut Comes to Early End

Tom Delgado showed he had the muscle to win the Texas 500, but then all sorts of bad luck happened to put him a few laps down. Once his engine finally expired, Ethan Everett plowed into the back of him. Afterwards, Delgado took responsibility for the incident, declaring it an overestimation of his situation.

"Totally my fault. I thought I had a little more time than I actually did to get down onto the apron and out of the way, and unfortunately, Ethan was an innocent victim of my own overestimation. It is what it is. We had a car that could win today, but we'll take what we learned here and move on. This season isn't a sprint, there's plenty of time to recover from today" Delgado said, surprisingly upbeat about the whole thing.

Brian Morris on the radio after the incident with Ken Stevens: "What the FUCK was that idiot doing?! Does he not have a mirror? Does he not have a fucking spotter?! He just ruined our chances to win this race. God, don't tell me I'm gonna have to deal with a bunch of no-driving assholes here like Halks does in ARLA."

Aaron Collins on the radio after incident with Tony Durbin: "Man I'm really sorry about that, that was completely a driver error by me there."

His interview after the Race, "The incident with Durbin was 100% my mistake. My spotter never told me has was approaching me for some reason but I could've done better than wipe out about 8 others cars too, so I guess I'll take whatever penalty comes, and take it from there."

He was then asked about why he wasn't on the pace early in the race, "This is a new team I've just joined, so I did realise before this Race that I probably would be slow, but throughout the Season the team will focus on putting more development into the car which hopefully will get me good finishes before the Season's end."

Micheal Humpfreys debut goes excellent, wins Texas 500.
The driver from Massachusetts making his 1st ASCC start, driving the #09, Bolden, avoided all the chaos, and collected his first win in his young career.
