Anyway, Jimmie Johnson won here back in June. Meanwhile, Ryan Newman won at Indy on Sunday to make it three drivers in positions in 11-20 in points with race wins, majorly hurting the chances of Kez, LOLgano, etc.

Jeff Gordon won this race last year, only after Jimmie and Matt Kenseth crashed in Turn 1 after what would turn out to be the final restart, as a heavy thunderstorm forced the race to be called, and a lightning strike resulted in the tragic death of a fan. The win for Gordon catapulted him into the Chase as wild card, as it was his second win of the season.

44 cars are signed up to take part. One of the drivers in the field: Dun-dun-dun...ALEX KENNEDY!

Actually, the win was his first of the season. He got the wildcard by outdriving Kyle later at Richmond.

She's not the greatest but she's actually trying... she's a inspiration for young female racers. I for one accept the fact that Danica is here trying to race. Not like 95% of NASCAR fans

Really thought Kahne had lost the race before that final restart, but he DROVE that thing into the tunnel turn and is heading to victory lane as a result. Admittedly, that was impressive.

This race was better than the other Pocono race this season, but again, that's not really saying much. Kind of disappointing considering that last year's races were actually entertaining.

The GoBowling.com 400 @ Pocono gets a 4.0/10.

The good news is Watkins Glen is next week. Oh, budday. Very Happy

Doesn't everybody at one point? Just because Jimmie fails pre-qualifying inspection doesn't mean he's cheating, but then again when you have 5 championships and 64 wins anything you do is cheating I guess.

Carl Long was caught with a minor engine infraction, that probably didn't add a lick of speed, at the All-Star Race, and NASCAR didn't just take him to the woodshed, they ran him through the wood chipper. Whether or not you thought Long had any business running Sprint Cup, that didn't help NASCAR's credibility at all. A fine, yes, but not a fine somebody like him would need a friggin' Kickstarter to pay off.
