2013 Iowa Corn Indy 250 @ Iowa - IZOD IndyCar Series

Last week, series champ Ryan Hunter-Reay won for the 2nd straight year at the Milwaukee Mile and cracked down on Helio Castroneves's point lead.

Hunter-Reay also won this race last year in his three-race winning streak which propelled him to the championship. Andretti Autosport has been dominant at this track, winning 4 of the first 6 races, including the last 3.

Will there dominance continue or will someone give them a run for their money at the Iowa cornfields? We'll find out Sunday.

The IndyCar race for Sunday does not look good. There's a 60% percent chance of rain with thunderstorms in the area. We'll see what the outcome is.

Helio Castroneves grabbed pole position......but will start ten spots lower due to an engine change.

Based Hinch being a boss right now.

Hinch wins! he now once again has the most wins this season.

a few more good runs and he's a contender for the championship.

That was too much Hinchtown today. He's the best driver in IndyCar now.

Hinch dominates. Race was kind of... meh, for the most part.

Meh? The racing was awesome! Sure, not many drivers had a shot at Hinch, but there was a bunch of passing throughout the whole race. The race deserves at least a 8.5 out of 10, IMO. I was actually rooting for Graham Rahal to win the race since he was on a rail and actually had a legitimate shot at beating Hinch. The ABC coverage was iffy at times but it was still good otherwise.

Pocono in 2 weeks. This is one race I'm most certainly looking forward to.

That race went by too quickly lol. Like it started and ended within a 30 lap period of Nascar.

Despite a Hinch domination, it was still a pretty solid race. Looks like he is a legit threat for the championship now.
