IndyCar - Milwaukee IndyFest
Penske now has a win on the year, with Helio nabbing sole possession of the points lead in getting said win.
Last year, Ryan Hunter-Reay won this race to kick off a three-race winning streak, and put in place the foundation of a championship-winning season. Does someone else kick off a run to the title here, or does the unpredictable wackiness of the season so far keep up?
Race is Saturday.

Ganassi haven't looked like winning a race so far this year, so probably not. At this point, anyway...

Ganassi has been terrible most of this year. Only in the last two races have they started showing some competence.bigdc48 wrote:dariowinslol?

Dario wrecked here last year, so, not likely. I say Dixon gets one win, Charlie gets his first, Franchitti gets shut out.

Well, I'm just saying. You never know. That's how this season is. You'll never know who's gonna win what race.

It's been confirmed that Briscoe will be back in the 4 this weekend.

Hmm, I guess the Oriol deal wasn't for a full season. That's too bad.
Anywho, I expect a good race that Milwaukee usually delivers on well.

Servia will get the 4 car back at Iowa. No idea what happens after that. John Barnes says there could be "several different drivers" taking turns in the 4 car before the season ends.

Ana Beatriz will pilot the 18 car this weekend. The entry list (or spotters' guide) is now linked in the original post. The spotters' guide also includes the incredibly small entry list for Indy Lights.

If Indy Lights has taught us anything, you don't need a big list to have a good race.crl wrote:Ana Beatriz will pilot the 18 car this weekend. The entry list (or spotters' guide) is now linked in the original post. The spotters' guide also includes the incredibly small entry list for Indy Lights.

Anyone see Sato's qualifying Laps? Almost kissed the wall on lap 2. The ragged edge just got little bit more ragged.

Doesn't wear Alex Tagliani hat: Tagliani finishes 23rd.
Wears James Hinchcliffe shirt: Hinchcliffe finishes 5th.

Poor Sato. If it weren't for Ed Carpenter being a nuisance (uncharacteristic for him), Taku might've won. Somebody said on Twitter that Ed should feel lucky that AJ wasn't in Milwaukee, or else *backhanded slap upside the head*.

Hell, he might've won anyway if Beatriz didn't bring out the yellow at the exact wrong moment for him.

Pretty solid race with all the strategy involved. RHR is starting to look really strong again.
