Super Monaco Indy 600 weekend!

Next weekend is Christmas Day for race fans. Who's going the distance this year?!?

Like usual, for the cost of pizza, I'll be commandeering my parents TV (since they got a big screen) from the moment the lights go out at Monaco to the moment the checkered flag waves in Charlotte.

I've done the double - Indy and Charlotte pretty frequently since I was about 15. Never tried the triple. This might be the year for it.

I'll watch Monaco, but have school the next day. Having said that, I haven't being feeling to good lately, so, if I'm willing to pull an all-nighter in 15 degree weather, I watch all 3

a) My parents don't want to fork out the extra 7,70 euros a month to get the sports pack (which includes NASCAR), which means I can't see the 600 anyway.
b) I'm spending the weekend in math camp. Yes. Math camp.

And what I figured would happen did, so I'm only going to see 2 of the 3 this weekend. I have to work Sunday morning. But, only till 11, so I should be able to see Indy.

Dudes, seriously, enough with the puns already. I love being a comedian myself, but you've got to draw the line somewhere, and the phrase too much of a good thing could be applied here.

Besides, the admins could take one look at this thread and the Talladega thread and think this is a bunch of spam. Admins don't like spam, kids.

I'm not trying to be a jerk here, and trust me, I like being a funny guy as much as pretty much everyone on this forum, but when everyone and their dog starts doing puns, it becomes too much, and all it does is clog up the threads with useless crap. Something like this is really what the RDT was designed for.

Indianapolis 500

If the race weekend was a baseball game...

Monaco - Base hit. Got what was expected. Nothing out of the park, but they got the job done

Indianapolis - 3 run home run - Just about a perfect race to watch. Just absolutely thrilling.

Charlotte - Embarrassing strikeout. Pitcher felt bad for the hitter, so he let him hit again... weak dribbler to the pitcher for an easy out.
