Super Monaco Indy 600 Weekend!

Ok, the weather forecasts so far for the races...

Monaco - Partly Cloudy, 70, 20% Chance of rain
Indy - Partly Cloudy, 92, No Chance of rain
Charlotte - Mostly Sunny, 93, No Chance of rain

But of course, things can change.

Who's gonna go the distance, and watch all three races?

I'm up for it if you guys are. Heck, we could hold a contest on TeamSpeak to see who drops dead first.

I'll be commadering my parents big screen (I'm offering Pizza, so they are cool with it), so someone will have to keep me up with what hilarity can ensue (and save it for our entertainment).

I did it last year, so I'll do it again this year!

The title of the thread would make the best race title ever.

Anyway, it's nice that just for one day, motor sports gets to outshine everything else.

I would do it, but I have school to go to unfortunately.

As far as the races go, I'm definitely watch Indy and Charlotte and if I can get up (lol) Monaco.

I know, those like Alta (though we are talking about 5 in the morning, not too bad), and especially our friendly Aussies and such, I can understand missing at least one of the races

SPEED coverage is at 7:30 am ET. I've got to work Saturday night from 8:30pm to 2:30am. I don't think so. lol. Otherwise, I'd be able to do it.

Gotta be smart like me. I was scheduled to work until 1 in the morning, but I was able to convince my boss to let me get off at 11

I even PLan on watching the GP2 race before monaco!

If I was crazy enough to watch all (I repeat, ALL) 24 Hours of the Nurburgring race (Something I don't think anyone here did), F*** yeah I'm watching all three of these races. Better get that 6 pack of Red Bull.

I'm gonna give it a shot. Just gotta make sure my alarm's set for the start of the Monaco GP. I'm used to not getting any sleep

I'm not a morning person at all, but I'm definitely going to try to get up for Monaco.

Let's see:
Monaco: 10pm Sunday
Indy: 1am Monday
600: 8am Monday.

Yeah budday.

Considering I'm getting sick, I might be able to watch all 3 (I'd sleep through Sunday but, if I'm well enough, I have to attend this stupid thing for school)

At my Camper, we don't get Speed, so no F1 race, I have done it before though.

I'm going to the Indy 500, so I'll miss Monaco, and I may be too tired to watch the Coca Cola 600 later. I guess that's what DVR's for. lol

Since I don't live in America, it's just the Monaco GP for me then.

around 12pm EST.

Roughly 5PM. That's long after the F1, you can catch it.

The Lotuses have looked good, so saying Kimi or Roman winning at Monaco isn't far fetched at all

For our American friends, Speed will be airing Monaco at 7:30am EST, ABC will have Indy at 12:00pm EST, and you can turn over to FOX at 5:30pm EST to catch Charlotte. If you don't live in the US you could figure out the times of the races for your area based on this. As, for networks, I can't really help you.

Also, is anyone going to try to do the Indy-Charlotte double-header this year? Race at Indy and then head on over to Charlotte to race in the 600?

I don't believe anybody is trying that.

As for the times, it works out perfect because Indy and Charlotte are expecting no rain (as of now), and the new rules in F1 will put the 4 hour mark (if it were to rain, and we have a huge red flag period) right at the start of Indy.

I will be recording all three, and I will be on TS during the races most likely, and watch them Monday.

I'll be on TeamSpeak for most of Monaco, maybe some of Indy, and all of Charlotte if all goes as planned.

Monaco will be the only race i'll actually be home for (damn work), so the DVR will be getting a workout this weekend

Indy 500: 1am on Speed TV

Like I posted in the Monaco thread, an updated weather forecast has just upped the possibility of rain in Monaco. If that keeps up, I think one race should become must watch, if just for the sadistic part of it

I'll be watching Monaco and the 600, but I might have to skip part of Indy. From the weather forcast, it seems like Sunday is the only day I could possibly get the lawn mowed.
