LMEuro: Countries we were in previous to the deal with Lenard: Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, and Italy. We're very happy with the attention we're receiving though. Their resources are helping greatly and we're very thankful for it.

JamesSpalding: Managed to sneak a peek at Packer as he was climbing into the ambulance for the ride to a local hospital, and... well, his wrist looks absolutely nasty. Extreme bruising and swelling around the entire wrist. <pic>

JamesSpalding: I'm no doctor, but I'd say a broken wrist is very likely in this case. As for how it could've happened, I'd say the sudden stop had a lot to do with it. The wheel was probably jerked out of his hands, much like what happened two years ago when he broke his wrist at St. Pete.

JamesSpalding: As for me defending him, I just can't do it. Maybe it was just a simple driving error, but it is what it is. Will he get a suspension? Probably, but in light of the current situation, I think being suspended from Sweden is the least of his worries right now.

JamesSpalding: I just heard from one of the medical personnel at the track that if the injury is as bad as they think, it could require surgery to repair the damage, so even if he wasn't going to be suspended from Sweden, it's very doubtful that he'd even be cleared to race anyway. Even worse is the fact that it's the same wrist he broke two years ago, so it'll probably take longer to heal as a result.

JamesSpalding: So, yeah. As much as I hate to admit it, it looks like Packer's Cup career is in a downward spiral... and the worst part is, we're not at Karjala yet. I think depending on what happens, Karjala just might be the final nail in the coffin.

KalOreiller: Personal opinion: If Packer is sidelined due to his broken wrist, he should still have to serve a suspended ban the first race he is supposed to return.

RG-R&Roller: Just caught the TMMCS race from France.  I can't call the incident between Soveral and Carroll.  I can't call that Packer turned down.  From Packer's onboard, the most I can say is Soveral move up a little bit.  Still Packer should've given more clearance to allow for that.  With the lead Soveral had, I'm just surprised he was going that hard.
